First of all….Thanks Skunk you da HOG bro!!! Oh yeah, and thanks to that Jerry fella too!

Have I mentioned how much I like Jerry’s DC knives before and how IMHO the DC with black canvas micarta is the most functional combo there is? I think I may have mentioned this once or maybe even twice. So what does one do when a Fatty Mistress with some black mags and black crinkle shows up on his doorstep on a Monday afternoon….well if it’s this little ole piglet….He gets real ass busy!!! This Mistress is everything they’ve been saying it is…fat, heavy, sturdy, stout, and begging to be used…but first things first!

Just a little rough around the edges for me…now I like to put a rough, real rough, satin on her before spraying her down with some Glass! This is where the sponge sanding blocks really rock…way easier on the ole fingers!

You can still see ole glory…started to fade though…but still holding up..damn tough that logo is!!!

Fire up the compressor…set the psi to 100 (INFI needs high PSI)…goggles, air mask, and were ready to blast some steel brothers!!! Took a little longer than I had planned but I try to get it as close to factory as I can….Want to make Jerry proud don’t cha know! Here she is…my DCFFBM with black canvas Mags!!! Enjoy guys….no drooling now!

Soooweet! You just set me off man. I noticed a blast cabinet in the shop of a cemetary I've been working at yesterday. They said I could come in and use it anytime. I have to try this. Thanks for sharing and the blade looks beautiful!
 
Always a great job with DC, Solstice. *You* will be the reason I buy a blast cabinet (d*!n you!)

Yes, it is laser etched. NICE work on that fatty! :thumbup: I'm working on my Ruck with sandpaper, using a hard rubber sanding block, hope mine looks that good when I finally finish.
 
Holy schnickies!! Amazing!! I need to do that to a couple of my blades one of these days...
