One DC coming up...

sweet work! it makes me want to try it out with one of my blades. did you just do it by trail and error (if so you did great) or find a good online guide?

The blade looks awesome! Now you just need to blacken the micarta. If you do that I'd love to see more pics.

Holy Crap! That looks friggin' awesome!!

Fantastic job, Solstice!

Medium....3M sponge blocks don't give a real grit #. They come in Course Medium and Fine. And man do they work great....saves alot of time over doing it with a sheet and my poor little fingers!

Thanks for the info!

I am going to run over Wallworld later today and pick some up. I've got one of Jennifer's blades that is beggin' to have a DC finish put on her... :D

Great job, keep up the good work! Did you go straight from sanding to the glass bead? I have to use silica on mine first then the glass bead because my compressor is that powerful, it is spotty on the finish if I don't.

Bryan.. that's sweeeeettt!!!! Love that DC finish:cool:
Great work and thnx for sharing the pics:thumbup:

Makes it look very appealing compared to the price of the LE's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
