One folder for the rest of ur life? 750$ cap

The Umnumzaan. Have not held a better quality knife yet. But still looking for one better

Chris Reeve Small Sebenza is the perfect folder for EDC, can be dressed up as a gentleman's folder and EDC blade and has the durability and toughness to get the job done with it's S30V blade. If you ever scratch it you can send it back to Chriss for resharpening and sandblasting the handle for 27 dollars and have your knife back in about a week.

:D:D:D post number 4,000 :D:D:D

After some careful thought I decide, for the moment, that the one folder I would want, with it being my one and only would be a titanium framelock with a 4.25" clip point blade and constructed by John W. Smith. As much as I like my Mike Irie model 11, and I do, there is just something about the clean looks and action of a JWS folder!

A dream knife for me would be, Devin Thomas or Bertie Rietveld Damascus, Micarta inlays, Warncliff blade, Umnumzaan ceramic ball lockup, pivot bushing. Something in those lines.

No need to spend all $750 :) but for me it would be my Emerson Horseman in stonewash. I love this little knife like no other. Perfect size, slim and the only knife I have (besides my Emerson Karambit) that feels just as good in the reverse grip as it does in the forward grip. I would then pocket the rest of the money for some other stuff I need haha.

Another knife that is really growing on me is the Sebenza, but I don't have enough to justify the price. But if someone gave me 750, I could see myself buying it to see what the fuss is about.

Even with a 750.00 cap I would have to go with the new Paramilitary II. I can't seem to find a folder to kick this one out of my pocket. Just an outstanding knife.

Me too!

Howdy CM,

That is an amazing example of craftsmanship... One piece frame and dovetailed scales? Integral bolsters?

As a maker, I can totally see how that would give one a major sense of accomplishment, but leave absolutely no desire to climb that peak again.

Not my speed as far as blade geometry goes, but that is one sick knife.

Congrats on owning the only one! That's really neat.

Thanks for sharing,

Taylor

Glad you liked the vid. Demko is a true custom knifemaker.

I'd have to go with a flipper and with IKBS.

I've been on this journey for a while. My Buck Custom Shop 110 in flaming Koa with ns bolsters and a teardrop Damascus blade was 'it' for quite a while. Then - that magnificent BM 630 Skirmish. Last spring - the ZT-301 - wow! September brought my one and only CRK into the house - a Wilson Combat 'StarTac' Umnumzaan - the search is over! That's $430...

Stainz

I'd just carry some kind of Spyderco, and stick the remaining $675 in a Vanguard Index 500 fund.

In 30 years, I'll be playing with 2 bikini chicks on a cigarette racing boat in the Meditteranean, while you guys are playing with your beater damascus Sebenzas.

frigging hilarioius :thumbup::D:thumbup:
