One for looks, one for work...

Nice Ryan, thanks for the post and that WE certainly is a beauty, and a great slicer too !

herisson, in seeing your Theirs reminded me of mine, what use to be mine, they are very nice and as with all the ones I've owned, I do miss them, here's one in stag that I had not so long ago;

I had to stop looking at that one - I was OHHHH so tempted. I hated to see it go by. :(
Reminded now as to how nice it was (is). Oh well - there will be others...

I carry two as well.
One for things that won't destroy my hair shaving edge.
Buck vantage pro.
Then one to beat on, cardboard, scrape metal, so on.
Right now it's a Utica sportsman.
Most of the time a $30 uncle henry I don't mind sharpening frequently.
It's not that I don't use the nice one, I just use it for paper, food, wood. So on.

@Gary: Re: the Steel Will Tenet, it seems like I saw some discussion on youtube awhile back attempting to cast doubt on whether the D2 used by Steel Will was "real" or had some problems. In your experience with the Tenet, does it perform as you would expect from D2?

Too early to tell but the edge is very good

I took the Tenet for some work today, a lot of leather, some wood carving and it performed great, kept a razor's edge, had me second guessing which knife was the one to keep as a queen as this cuts very well and handles nice too. BUT I still do love the WE but, it had me thinking!!!
All in all, I think I made a great choice as the hard working folder, remember both of these are not large folders, blades are relatively short which for me works better in a folder.

Update on this thread topic, I have since shipped the Tenet to a friend out west and for now I am putting the Minitor on full EDC duty, she is sharp! both in looks and edge ;)

My EDC is an Olamic Busker, but I would never do anything really hard on that knife — I basically just use it for opening mail, boxes, etc. For harder use, I have a Benchmade Bugout, but at some point I’d like to replace that with a Medford (not sure which one).
