One guyot, one cup..

Can anybody confirm that the stainless GSI cup from twowolves will fit the current 1L nalgene bottles? I bought one from REI on clearance that did not fit.

..I emailed them last week or so and they confirmed it will fit. ..that's why I ordered the pair from them.

Thanks MagicDot.
Yes, they fit. These cups are 18oz, not 16oz... the size difference is in circumference... they were specifically designed to fit bottles.
Here ya go, the cup with the Nalgene Guyot 38oz bottle:

Cups should be in Monday... delays, delays, delays :grumpy:

BTW: I also like to make ramen, instant oatmeal, or mac&cheese in mine... i also like cup-a-soup!

Uncle Ben's Natural Select parboiled flavoured rice is very tasty and easy. Just boil then simmer 10 min.
Lots of flavours to choose from
Minute rice is easier but tastes like crap with less nutrition.

Rice takes up little room, your best bet for carb to weight ratio and holds up well.

I vacuom seal 1 cup portions with a half cup of home dehydrated cooked chicken, 4 oxo envelopes and they are very weather and abuse proof. If it gets wet, no big deal just cook it within a few hours. I have one in my survival kit and top pocket of my pack always. Measure any amount and double the water mix, boil and simmer.

Quick soup. Add 4 to 5 parts water to 1 measure of mix
In a small billy or canteen cup: .25 cup mix to 1.25 water

I like ramen with a a couple tablespoons of peanut butter and red pepper flakes to make a Thai noodle meal. It is great, especially in cold weather.

What kind of peanut butter do you use, creamy or chunky? :p

Interesting, sounds weird but I'll have to give that a try.
