One Khukuri To Rule Them All :) Jason Knight

Guys I'm getting a lot of emails from folks that originally said they where interested. I emailed or pm'd these folks to quote price etc. the first to respond back got on the list. I am sorry if you did not make it. We where up in the air on a full project and then it just took off

Due to the price on these I really wanted people to know the cost before they committed so if we missed you I am very sorry and we will try and run the next one a bit smoother

Again sorry

No that knuckle head leaves me all the work :) and he plays the rock star

Honestly Jason is the hardest working Smith I know and puts out a staggering amount of pieces. These are hugely time consuming and he suggests they be a requirement for passing your MS :)

Jason takes good care of me :)

So, all the forum reprobates and scallywags, then. :D

Well I never!

.... have been called something that nice. Usually it's quite a bit more derogatory and often refers to my pedigree and heritage. Sometimes a body orifice or other body parts in combination. Thanks for the compliment! ;)

It was just by blind luck and chance that I saw this thread and thanks to Joe, I'm looking forward to expanding my collection.

That is awesome. Put me on the list when you finally realise this project must happen :)

Guys we started this one and it was over before I new it.

When folks inquired and said they where in I would email or pin them projected price etc. and as soon as I would get a conformation I filled the slots

Regretfully it seems a lot of great people got left out. For that I'm sorry :(

Jason decided it would be prudent to cap these at ten and I agreed. They are a lot of work and he really wanted to try and finish the lot with in three months or so.

Again Jason and I really apreciate the enthusiasm and the way this piece has been recieved. Jason is a medal mashing monster with a talent for blades of mayhem but to make these projects work they have to be realistic and on a piece like this it could really take its toll if he over commits. Things like that have tarnished some good makers names.

It looks like this project could have sold out by twice the amount that was allocated and that was in 24 hrs. Wow.....crazy awesome to say the least .

Big thanks again I guess this beast really is the Khukuri to rule them all :)

I am happy you are happy Joss :)

The emails and pm s keep coming . On one hand I am very pleased but on the other I am sad that some are left out :(

What is so cool about this is that it brought out a very diverse group. From high end collectors to hard users .....just incredible.

Althought Jason is very established and his work is known around the world I feel he is on the cusp of something great and I am honored to be a part of it. He's a dam good man and my friend :) and like the old James Bond them says .......Nobody Does It Better

Again everyone's favorite Khukuri picture :)

Joe, fyi, I have been a fan of Jason Knight's work for awhile. Never owned anything, but when this particular discussion started, I had already formed my opinions and all it took was the sight of that baby to make me swoop. It's not just art knives that make me tick, it's design and grind - and flow. This one has that, and I knew that fit and finish would be beyond question. I had to have me one o' them babies.

Bob having you on board is a feather in both Jason and myselfs cap and I am thrilled :)

As you know Jason's fit and finish is awesome and he can really make a blade sing

Thx again

Quality I'm sorry I don't live in the us and that the offer has gone be really interested in feedback and future photos hope those lucky enough enjoy them.

I have a feeling that this will be an iconic knife. Congrats you smart Collectors, good snag!

Great looking blade bar none. I own two traditional kukris and love this new one even more. Wish I could afford but mom always said wanting is free so I'll be happy just wanting one.
