One of the sharpest knives i've ever seen!

That's not really a test of sharpness as it is a test of blade geometry and cutting technique.

What was the one video, guy with a kabar cut through 13 bottles. Not quite as clean as that one though, that was impressive.

Bottle cutting is cool, but check out Entropy's other videos to be impressed..... You will know what I am talking about.....

Well your in the wrong place then because we are all very technical. Always better to know than wonder but you have to want to learn first.

15 year old...heh. The average age on this forum is closer to 40, given what I've seen of the member photos.

Anyway. Entropy always seem to use that beautiful kiku matsuda knife....I'd like a Basara, myself. I'd never be able to actually use the knife though, not one I paid $800 for.

haha yea, that's the main reason i get cheaper knives. That and the fact that i am 15 so i don't really have that much money to spend.

And sometimes its weird being a 15 year old that is into knives because most kids my age are too stupid to figure out how a knife would be useful.

It's probably more technique than sharpness, as Knifenut said. This test needs the knife to hit dang near a right angle, and be thin enough to pass through the bottle. It's a Bladesports event I think-I saw the videos of people using their knives to hack rows of bottles in half.

Oh, and if you're 15 and on a low budget, I'd advise you to save up and get some more expensive knives. You don't have that many pockets anyway. ;) I'm 16, and have very few good knives...but what I have makes me very happy.

no......15. hahaha i was just trying to waste some time. I was bored, and i hate when people have to get all technical. (sometimes)

Sometimes that is how knowledge is obtained and shared.

pretty cool vid, kiku knives all look awesome just sooo expensive. Any one here have any experience with OU-31?
