Recommendation? One Watch, One Knife

casio and gshocks are always a great choice, i especially love the models that i remember seeing on peoples wrists in the 90s and remakes of vintage models, my current favorite gshock is the re-issue of a 1992 model the dw5900

Spent $500 on this combo!

gshock is fun, accurate, and durable. CRK is a forever knife.

I'd get a marathon TSAR and a Sebenza. I mostly prefer autos with a few exceptions. Most of the cheaper Seiko's I've bought aren't terribly accurate, though a couple have been. Not an accuracy snob but I like my watches to run within a couple minutes fast or slow a week... though with my Seiko's, I rotate them out after a week. Doesn't bug me but I've got a collection, so I don't have a watch that's 5 minutes off after a couple weeks. I'm guessing you're going to make this a daily wear watch and for that, I'd be looking for accuracy. You usually have to spend about twice what you're looking to in order to get a mechanical watch that's going to be accurate and maintain that accuracy over the span of years. USUALLY. I've owned some exceptions but for the most part, this holds true.
