hey there-
has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with onestopknifeshop.com?
Their prices seem fairly reasonable.

thanks!
J

I have made several purchases with 1SKS. Great prople to deal with. Fast, friendly, and they are the place that gives us Bladeforums. They are the place I go to for my new production blades! ;) :D I would not have a concern advising others to buy there!

If you mean 1sks.com, I have never bought a knife from them - other stores have the specific few items I like for less.

I hear they sponsor a pretty good knife forum though.

Have bought from them...would do so again in a heartbeat!

great service!

Every now and again someone reminds us that it's a good idea to patronize the local knife store, where you can talk to an actual person about the knives, try them out, see how they fit your hand, see the fit & finish for yourself. They may charge a good bit more than online dealers, but they can offer so much more. Maybe it's worth the occasional purchase to help keep them around.

One Stop Knife Shop doesn't charge so much more than most other dealers. They charge less than many. They give you good pictures and detailed stats on the knives -- size, materials, variants. In fact, their website is a good place to go to research knives. And they answer e-mails!

Lead us not into temptation ... :D

And, since no one else has explicitly stated it, the owner of Bladeforums is the owner of 1SKS, Aggie. I've never ordered from them, but I've also never heard anything bad from the multitudes who have.

I bought from 1sks. Shipping was exactly as stated on their website (depending on your choice of method). Service is excellent. Since i live far from US, i got my friend to pick up for me, and asked 1sks to make sure the knife has no factory defect .. something like double checking on my behalf, and it came out true.

Still use the knife to shave every day .. CRKT Large Point Guard

I've bought from 1sks many times, because often they have the lowest prices of all the e-tailers I search. No problems whatsoever, I would highly reccommend them.

Thanks for the responses, but this belongs in the Good Bad & Ugly

i would love to buy from them too, i have only heard good things. unfortunately i'm in italy and they doesnt ship outside us with usps (i normally use it , since i buy all my knives in usa) and the ups rate is way too much that normal (starts at 85 bucks, usps with insurance is 15..)

if you are in usa ,you surely can shop with confidence.

I like them, but my last purchase was a replacement bulb for a Surefire light. It was paid for by credit card immediately, but took about five weeks to finally have it delivered. Sheeesh.... :(

You were not charged until the bulb was in stock and ready to ship. Our policy is that your money is your money until the product is ready to change hands.

No worries. I apologize for the length of time it took to get your your bulb, even with $90,000+ of SureFire inventory on hand at any given time, we still find ourselves running out of things. :D Hope you enjoy your light though.

I've bought a few knives from them, had to return a defective one for a replacement-They were Totally Cool about it.Even called to make sure I was satsified with the new knife.
Oh Yeah, They have a Great Knife Forum Too ;)

I dont know the name of the lady who works(d) there, but when I got my Gold last year, she was very helpful working thru a glich in my visa card.
Did you know that if the mailing address and the card mailing address dont match the computer catches it.
