I just finished emailing them about shipping by U.S. Post to Canada and then I read this thread.
If they don't ship by mail I think they are and will be missing a lot of sales to good foreign customers........

We don't ship by mail to anyone other than GI's overseas because of the HUGE loss rates. Sorry. Each of our policies are in place because of lessons learned, often extremely expensive lessons.
 
Spark, a while ago in the Canadian forum you stated that you would be willing to ship to Canada via USPS if the customer would be willing to sign a waiver. Was this never actually instituted?
 
It's still valid, the person has to sign the waiver and we have to have the "in ink", no fascimiles signature along with a copy of their ID. This policy also has a "no replacement" requirement with it - if the package gets lost or stolen, we will not replace it due to the length of time it will take for a claim through USPS.

Since we won't commit customs fraud by not declaring what items are on the forms, proscribed items will still be seized.

All in all, no one's actually come forward and volunteered to do this (understandably so).
 
how come the link in the left hand corner to 1SKS is gone?? wanted to check a price and hadnt noticed till then it was gone?
