I just got off the phone with Bill Howard, and he told me that some of the 2016 BladeForums knives will be shipping.... tomorrow!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

He also said that many of the remainder could ship as early as Friday, so this means some of you will be receiving your knives next week! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Under 100 left, so don't wait! These will be gone before you know it. I'll be posting photos as soon as humanly possible, and I'm super excited about this year's knife.

Thanks Barry -

I think GEC is finally getting this "knife making" thing under control. :^)

Carrying the 2013 Irish Jack today....

best

Just send mine first and there won't be any trouble.

#35 Drover? What is a drover?

Knife looks amazing whatever you want to call it.

Woohoo!!! They look smashing!!!

But I always say that when I see an equal end, especially when it has a spear point attached to it.

Wiki's definition- "A drover in Australia is a person, typically an experienced stockman, who moves livestock, usually sheep, cattle, and horses "on the hoof" over long distances." Basically a cowboy. ;)

Hmm, so I'm curious how/why that name was assigned to this knife then.

I'm also starting to wonder if I should have two of these instead of just one. Thinking the first one may get a lot of use.

A drover is a cattle/sheep herder I think?

Picture it, 1959 TV, Rawhide, Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates:
"Movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep them dogies movin', rawhide.

Yeah, I know, I'm old.......

Is the nail nick for the punch on the other side? I'm not seeing it in the picture with the lighting.
