Online HOG Induction . . . . .

Geeze what's the world coming to with these online inductions? These little piglets haven't gone through half of the blood sweat and tears that the old Hogs have!!:grumpy:

But we do something you don't: :D we use some of em' :p

Unfortunately, all buy a handful of mine are tucked away in storage thousands of miles away...... :( All lonely.

some are missing, others are on their way. . .

The kind who gets the VERY special offer on the Anniversary Knife?

Word. I'll make it to Blade some day, but not this one. Trips to Houston to help my little brother deal with his chemo really clobbered the travel budget for this year.

Of course, if Jerry would come to Blade West....

When I first found the Busse forum I was told that Hogdom was not about the amount of INFI you had, but it was a heart issue. A heart issue that results in dwindling bank accounts, questioning looks from the mailman who begins to wonder what Busse is and why you keep getting Priority Mail packages from them, raised spousal eyebrows and a compulsive desire to possess more of the indestrustible stuff.....oh yeah, and an odd attraction to red-heads from Ohio. Hog or not, I've got the symptoms.

While it's not quite as developed as others, and I don't yet have my Badgers or EDC Milganzaaa blades.......here are a few shots.

I could help you make a couple a more black marks! :D

I bet you would Ducci. I bet I don't even have to guess which ones.

That's nearly a papathud picture.

Not hardly, Andre exceeds me even at the hieght of my collection.

Some great pics here, but IMO, the best is Progunner's pics...not because of what he originally had (although that is/was mighty impressive), but because of what he no longer has. I just find it very interesting what a guy chooses to keep or get rid of when he has actual hands on experience with most everything.

PG, I'm sure you've got a lot of stories in your collection. Someday if we ever run into one another, I'll buy you some drinks if you'll tell me some of them...

:D Don't get me too drunk or I might start talking about the ones I didn't take pics of and I am not supposed to talk about. :D:D:D

Clean, cool, and completely reliable (so far). You are correct that the HK 416 uses a similar system, but the Leitner-Wise is actually available (I have two). Patriot Ordnance also makes one that's actually available and that I've heard good things about. The HK I've only seen in pictures. They don't seem to be interested in selling them to us commoners.

Looks like I might need to sell my pre ban Bushmaster and buy an upper for my Armalite! :D I've been thinking of getting a 6.8 Rem upper for it anyway.

Man, perusing this thread gives me a bad case of INFI-envy! :o

I have no chance at ever being a Hog, congrats to those of you who have already and soon will make it!

Here is last week's haul ... I was hoping more would come in the mail (7 on the way), but I guess they will arrive next week :grumpy: Oh and I have a War Boar somewhere I just need to find it.

Anyway here are my first Busse's

I'd vote for Apprentice induction or something like that! No full induction until you see the man himself!

I'd be honored to be an apprentice inductee. My meager holdings just can't compare to what I've seen in this Thread. Man...

Honestly, as a non-HOG, I agree you should have to go to Blade to get inducted. And I don't rate. Other things, such as family, life, food, and such are more important than Busse blades. :O

I know. Cast me off the mountain and make me buy some rubber training knives or something. LOL

I've got a Snakeskin obsession, but that's it. SHSH's are cool and I'll get a combat-grade Anni-blade, but I can't see sinking 15K a year into blades or having multiple multiples of the same thing. Heck, there's stuff in my collection I should get rid of now. I just don't have anything I WANT in trade if I did. I'm just carefully building up a collection of snakeskin handled knives. And I'm good with that. Having a name-change and getting in on a higher-grade Anni knife SOUNDS good, but odds are I won't even get a higher-grade Anni knife. Heck, a year ago I'd SEIZE UP if I dropped $300 on a knife. Now I have 25 of them! (Most not $300 knives, thankfully.)
