Online knife shops suddenly flooded with Microtech production and models "customs"?

This picture speaks volumes about the lack of integrity at Microtech.
The only part of the original post to which I can respond is as follows: Microtech is a strange company indeed.

Hurray another microtehc thread :D

Microtech has always been strange. From their knives shipping out with chick tracts, which is possibly offensive and definitely creepy, to their recently deceased firearms program.

I for one never heard a good review of a M.S.A.R product, and cannot understand why they chose to jump ship to the firearms market when they were actually making great knives. Even more baffling is their decision to make an AUG clone designed for the American market, let alone any bull-pup styled rifle.

So its kind of a foregone conclusion that some of their decisions are inexplicably bad. However, they are a made in the U.S knife company, and they still make some great knives. I am proud to have carried a Microtech Crosshair on my plate carrier. They might have questionable ethics and motives, but I think that any high end knife company, that can get new people interested in high end cutlery. I hope things get back to the point where people are comparing Microtech's manufacturing to those of CRK.

I didn't see it at first, but there is a ZT0777 poster right in the background next to the MT booth where they are displaying "their" matrix.

Yes Microtech is a strange company, especially when it comes to ethics.I'm waiting for the supply to catch up with demand so I can buy a ZT0561.I wouldn't carry a Microtech if they gave me one for free.

Can someone help me make a list of companies that are unethical and that I need to avoid? So far I have Microtech, for making a knife very similar to a ZT design; ZT, for trying to copy a Microtech automatic; Spyderco, for abusing trademark law on the round hole; Benchmade, for using Spyderco's round hole; Enlan, for employing slave labor; and all companies that make knives outside the U.S., for hating Americans.

Spark says I should stop calling people imbeciles, so I won't. He also says I should stop trying to get him divorced. I'm cool with that too.

But you guys sound dumb as a fence post. That's all I'm gonna say.

I'm real late to the Microtech show. I missed the first half of it so i dont know what the hell happened. All i know is that 95% of their knives are friggin awesome looking. I had a chance to hold most of them at Blade this past week. I actually have a custom socom delta on the way, so I'll see what all the noise is soon.

Funniest post in this thread. :D

No one is perfect.

I like the designs of MT but the prices are off the chart for me. Too bad.

/C.

Just buy Old Hickory knives and you'll be fine. Made in America with no holes or moving parts. Enjoy!

Gawd. It's kind of a long list. But this is not the time or the place for it.
