Only One CRK?

Right now I'd have to say my new large PJ 21 with raindrop damascus. It was almost lnib when I got it for $100 less than retail.

There's just something really cool about a plain ti knife with a damascus blade.

I had a large micarta Insingo and an Umnumzaan 2nd series. Both were traded to my buddy, I only have a large micarta classic left. I've had probably over a dozen Chris Reeve blades, wished I had them all back.

two small micartas
two small classics
one large BG42 regular
small African blackwood classic
large cocobolo classic
large micarta classic
large tanto special regular
large micarta Insingo
first version pivot Umnumzaan
second version pivot Umnumzaan
5.5" Green Beret
two Aviators
Sebenza style Nyala
old design cocobolo Mnandi
new design cocobolo Mnandi

I know I'm forgetting a few, my wants are a set of large and small desert ironwoods, regular or classic. My grail is a set of large and small Sebs, with Mnandi, damascus blades and mammoth ivory scales. I have been looking for a micarta 21 Sebenza with S35VN.

Couldn't agree more. This is my edc.

I long ago decided that this would be the last one I believe would ever get rid of:

o84b52502fz35lo6g.jpg

Why? These reasons:

1) Large
2) 1997 Regular
3) Unique Graphic that I like
4) Artwork carved and anodized by Chris Reeve (verified)
5) BG-42 Blade hand-ground back in the '90's

The pinnacle of the Sebenza line in my mind. This will probably be buried with me.

I recently did this. (Few months back) Sold all knives to put the umnumzaan to the test. It's get used lots every day. And it's been...
one boss knife. Finish has held up really well, blade keeps the edge well. Buy one and smile.

Sebenza.
My favorite is my 1997 Large Regular. I consider the Large Regulars to be the best folder ever made.
Really like my 1997 Small Regular, and Classic Micarta's a lot also.

I have nothing to add to the current convo..It's been awhile Ken..nice to see you back!

Large regular with damascus blade for me (which Im still looking for) that'll cover all of my wants and needs :)

Man, that's tough. It would be between my Micarta 25 and my old-pivot, no-Idaho Made, no-LBS Umnumzaan.

The Micarta 25 is the older, finer-polish stonewashed, however, which I really prefer. That wins out.

My Micarta 25 would be the one out of the seven I currently own. I could use it as my only knife - period - if it came down to that. Luckily it has not!

Fine looking knife... All the boxes are checked with me too

I have large hands with a touch of arthritis, so my first choice for only one CRK is a large Sebenza 21 Insigno blade with micarta inlays. My second choice would be a 25 with inlays. Now if they made the 25 with an Insingo blade...

What a beauty!
It's really a problem for me and too cruel if only can choose one CRK.

Amazingly, as much as I disliked this knife when pic's first were posted, today it would be my one-and-only should that be necessary (shudder):
