Dude! Man, I'm gonna need therapy!
Well, given that I can't take a fixed blade with me everywhere, I'm gonna have to compromise with a folder of some kind.
It has to be small enough for regular, everyday string/radish/salami/loose-thread/salad/apple jobs, and it has to be big enough to skin a deer.
The only folder I own that meets all these criteria is a Scandi-style folder, the
EKA Swede 92.

I've used this knife in a wide variety of applications, and it just works.
I'm sure it will be a crummy shovel and a terrible crowbar, but it does okay as a scalpel and a kitchen knife and a box cutter.
I have great faith in this knife.
I presume that the "only one" rules also allow me to keep the spares I have for this one? It's only fair, you know . . .
(Now, to be fair, I have a Case (large) Sod Buster, in CV or stainless, that would do all of these jobs, but it doesn't lock open, so the Swede gets the nod.)
