Only One Knife...And Why?

As much as I love my Spyderco Para-Military 2, if I could have only one knife, it would be a SAK. Probably the Victorinox Tinker. Good quality, affordable, easy to maintain, easy to carry, easy to replace, useful tool selection, and essentially legal to carry anywhere on the planet... "Let's just say we'd like to avoid any Imperial entanglements..." :rolleyes:

A fella carrying a SAK could handle 99.9% of his knife needs with its humble awesomeness, and isn't like to get the 'stink-eye' from the sheeple population. :thumbup:

It will do everything, every time, except be subtle, I still haven't figured that one out.
 
Why would I, under any circumstances, limit myself to one knife?

My ZT 0551, because it's a big beefy strong knife, and I love it. I had to buy 2 one user, and to put away.
 
Providing I can still legally carry a firearm it would be the GEC dog on the bottom, it's solid as a rock, re-sharpens easily to a razor's edge, and doesn't scare the natives when it's called upon. It's main spear is good for most cutting tasks and the pen is great for precision work, like removing a splinter or to clean my pipe bowl. If, God forbid, I ever lived in a place that did not allow concealed carry, I would probably have to go with the Wilson on top. It still fills the bill as a good EDC but I could also see it working as a self-defense blade if nothing else was available.

One of my Spydie "Kris" knives as they are mean looking and scary sharp and I must like them as I have 5 of them.!!

If I only could have one knife, I guess I would have to go with my SanReMu 710. That brought me back from The Nam in one piece!
 
I can come up with several in different categories.Fixed-my Buck 119,locking-my Custom shop Buck 110 w/Buff horn and S30V,pocketknife-my Case Damascus Peanut(love that lil' knife),multi-Vic Huntsman,and multi with plyers-LM Charge tti.That's the best I can do.
