I had bought an Ontario about a year ago well about 5 months ago I had the knife in it's crappy $1.00 sheath while I was riding my motorcycle. Well my luck the movement from the bike (Bike, movement very little a 10.00 china made knife sheath would have keep the blade in it's sheath) gone, jumped out. Anyway bottom line I lost the knife, I think it was about 80.-90.00 knife so it wasn't like a 300-400. knife but I don't like giving away 80 bucks. Anyway I contacted Ontario and ask please correct the useless sheath and I would like to buy another Shiv (now for the knife I love the Shiv it feels really good just a nice little knife.) Well that's been a few months ago and still no answer from Ontario; sure we'll fix a better sheath, sorry about your lose we'll sale you a replacement at coast, screw you it's just for show not use stupid, something I mean something!
Now I have my Shiv back and now I have made a sheath that holds the knife in place! So Ontario, ok blade, crappy sheaths! I'll never buy another and no contact to customers, shame shame! I hope they fall to the wayside for the lack of performance!
ESEE, Busse or Tops will be the knife from now on.
Hope I don't offend anyone by this but make sure you check the sheath if you're looking at the Ontario's. I think for the money they could make a sheath that's worth the kinfe's blade and a 1.00 sheath with/out a 80-90.00 knife is a buck on your side you can't use!
