opeRATion eRATication . . . Huh??? . . . What does that mean?. . . .

The Swamp was founded upon one thing, SR-101! The Shop is finally running out of it’s old stockpiles of SR-101. There will be a Ganzaaa (or OP2W releases) of epic proportions full of Res-c themed Rats, Battle Grade Busse & Scrap Yard SR-101.

Majority of the blades will be rereleases of famous Swamp Rat knives from the past, which feature the differential heat treat. Along with rereleases of Busse knives in Battle Grade Dress, and Scrap yard will be picking up the scraps as usual from what’s left.

Once the SR-101 is gone, it’s INFI for everyone from this point forward! HOGS, Rats & Dogs will be brothers in INFI from this point forward! This spells the eRATification of SR-101!!!!

Just to follow up on this, I remember reading years back in my heavy HOG days that all the existing SR-101 was purchased as a lot in great quantity. This was done right before INFI was in the picture and discovered to be superior to SR-101, leaving them with tons of SR-101 to clear out via the Swamp Rat line of more budget friendly knives. I have also looked back at Jerry's 'Operation 2 Weeks' offerings in the last 2 years, not a single piece of SR-101 (please correct me if wrong, I did not look at the Ganzas) has been offered since 11-30-17 with the Battle Grade War Train Fusion.

Subsequently the only offerings of SR-101 have come through the Busse Website storefront for only a very small selection of models. This leads me to believe they are only down to a very small assortment of stock sizes to fuel the production, and when they are gone THEY ARE GONE! With the pile of steel they've been drawing from out of the shop, they will extend INFI across all three brand lines. Which they already have been doing for the last few years, it was rare in years past that they EVER offered SRKW or SYKCO knives in INFI... I mean EXTREMELY RARE.

Here are the only Swamp Rat & Scrap Yard releases since 2017

We're going to be treated to a Ganzaa of epic proportions with big meaty helpings of unholy mutant Nuclear Forsaken Rat/Dog/Hog blended knives. These wild hybrid mutants were born of whiskey induced hallucinations and have haunted Jerry's dreams (nightmares?) for a long time. In order to eradicate the demons, he must create them. Hold on and get your credit cards and bank accounts ready, we're in for a wild ride!

Okay, it was a shot in the dark. :D

They were also built and ground by One Arm Garth...who knows what unholy creation will be unleashed upon the world...

We're close enough to Black Friday that I'll mention this even though it's super obvious and I'm sure it has been mentioned already (haven't read the whole thread). Shop credits must be in the works. They can be used for all three brands of Busse.

I’d love to get a grab bag of SR101 small blades (mean street, whiskey Warden sizes) that SR101 is excellent in those sizes. I don’t need the Extra toughness so much in these sizes (<6”), but the keener edge over Infi in a small blade is much more useful.

All I really want for Christmas is a big ol flat back NMFBM

FWIW, there hasn't been a release to speak of in a bit, so shop credits or not, I bet there's a knife offering of some kind.

My guess is it means we’ll all be waiting another “two weeks” to hear the answer. :)
