Opinion Please

What's your interest in this knife? Are you thinking of getting one? I like it...I'd lose either the holes in the clip, or the one's in the handle though. Otherwise, if the "nub" doesn't interfere with your pocket carry...it's a winner. Especially since it's made by an very cool guy.

The fewer holes the better...and start with the clip (otherwise very nice

Nicely said, I'm with you 100% on this one, Jim...

I need a bigger bucket.

I think that the knives should be turned over to me immediately so that no one should ever have to look upon them again.

Actually, I like the holes a lot, and I the knives look wonderful.

Man, does Ken Onion make some NICE folders or WHAT?!!

I like the holes on the bolstered model, but not on the one with scales. The blades on both models are beautiful with or without the holes.
I want one. Of each!

I was thinking of "perforating" a few clips to make them more attention-grabbing, but all these negative responses are making me think twice. Do folks feel this way for clips in general, or just this knife in particular?

(Hijacking thread) How about filework on clips? Buffed "soft" so it wouldn't saw at furniture but maybe would add a little grip. I figure you mostly just see the clip, so on a nice knife I want to make it say "Look at me! What's in my pocket?" Opinions?

(jumping aboard hijacked thread) Drew, actually, a more attractive clip would be welcome. It would add sparkle to the big pile of plain ones that I seem to have collected

Drew,

Exactly. Decorating clips is a great idea, as the clip is the only thing visible when you pocket the knife. As for perforations, as I said earlier, I don't mind at all. My EDIs have perforations on the clips and they look great.
