Opinions needed!

The funny thing about the knife hobby is that you might try a pile of different knives and end up coming back to the CRK, or you might not ever think of it again once you try something else!
There's no right or wrong.[emoji106]

I caved in!!! AH!!!!!! I bought two knives this morning.....they will be here in about 4-5 days....Im super excited......yet at the same time thinking what did i just do...

Knew you wouldn't last long. Wait till you decide to stop carrying those lousy folders and start edcing a fixed blade. Then you won't want the seb anymore and you'll sell it to buy a Phil Wilson

Wait till you try a Para Military or an Emerson.
:D

That's a whole 'nuther ballgame...in a different park...

My problem is a bit different. I have CRKs that I don't use. They are much too nice to sell, but I have been stuck on a "non-CRK" now for all of this year. It fits my hand just fine, and I love it. I get worried because I haven't been hot to buy anything else...or, at least, not to CARRY anything else.

You NEED one Busse!
And a Dozier.
Did I mention Pohan Leu and Mikkel Willumsen?

I have a drawer full of knives - all right, a couple drawers full ... OK, maybe a little more than that; maybe a lot more than that :confused:

but only a very few that get regular carry or use. I am down to only one Sebenza and, truth be told, could probably do with just that as far as folders go. Keep in mind however, that the number one risk to a folder in not lock failure, blade failure. pitting, folding or any such thing - it's loss.

Loss is the single most prevalent threat to a folder and fort hat reason, I find myself enamored with carrying folders that will not cause much grief if lost. In that regard, modestly priced folders these days are fantastic compared tot he gas station junk of years gone by. I still adore my Sebenza, but I am oftentimes seen with one of my RAT-1 folders or a Cold Steel Voyager.

There is nothing wrong with being happy with the knife you've found for edc. Now find another role to fill, and go to work finding the next great knife for you :).

Myself, I've had the same edc blade for 4 years now, and haven't had an urge to find anything else. So you're not alone.

Kitchen knives, camping knives, knives for suits, knives for hiking, knives for gifting away, etc.

Have fun :).

... Diving knives, skinning knives, filet knives, brush cutting knives....

Like I tell the person behind the knife counter when they ask what I'm looking for. Something I don't need, will likely not use, much since I don't need it, but might want when I see it lol
