Had this thread up a while and just decided that I liked this ZT 350 Edit: a poster found with a satin finish. I prefer a bare metal color, but hey, i also prefer Striders, but I don't have $600.

I looked up the Buck/Strider, but from what I have seen, it is not exactly what I am looking for... sorry:(

If you own the 350 with the black coating, or the satin, tell me what you think, because this definitely seems like MY kind of EDC.

Also, I need to know, do most of you find this superior to Delicas and Enduras because I know they get over hyped and I personally don't like the way they look but sometimes Functionality > Looks

I've got 2 350's and a 301. They're pretty awesome. The 350 is much more comfortable in the hand than it looks in pictures. Currently, the 350 is the only knife I have 2 of.

I own 4 different ZT models. They all completely rock. The warranty, quality, durability, design, ergos...phenomenal.

I have a 300, its bulky, its heavy, it cuts well for being a big blade, not much of a sticker, and much stronger than its needs to be. Its a great knife and probably one of the best heavy duty production folder out, as long as you don't mind the weight.

The 350 is amazing :D I want one so bad... Is Sv30 good? how bout everything else? pros? cons? I want to know what everyone thinks...

S30V is good but how are your sharpening skills?

Pros? its a beast.
Cons? its big.

I couldn't see myself spending $236 for a knife let alone $400+. But I did when I bought my ZT0300. And let me tell you, I don't regret it one bit. I really love the organic look and feel of Ken Onion's design which is why I was originally drawn to Kershaw's models. My co-worker has Striders and Emersons and tried to get me to buy a Strider but they cost too much. Then he mentioned Zero Tolerance and a bit of google-fu and shortly thereafter I am a proud owner.

My ZT0300 is a tank (understatement!) and is a perfect hard-use folder. It'll take anything you dish out on it. Strider may have a better warranty system but Kershaws customer service is top-notch and I really don't feel like I am giving up too much in that department. It has all the features I found valuable in Stiders like the tough titanium framelock, premium S30V steel, G-10 scale and Hinderer Lock Bar Stabilizer. Plus it adds the curvy Onion designed blade and handle and adds assisted opening (I like it) with a flipper lever.

I highly recommend a Zero Tolerance to those looking a feature-rich, high quality, heavy-duty, no compromise knife. I feel safe in saying that of all their models. With the ZT0300, you basically get 99% of a Strider at roughly 1/2 the price. The 300 was my fist ZT and it will not be my last. ZT0350 and ZT0100 are next on my list.

I've got 2 0350s and like them both. One is the ST with the DLC coating and the other is the satin bead blast PE. Very solid lock up with an impressive "thwack" when opening. Not too big for EDC and the G-10 scales give a good grip without being too rough on pockets.

I'm thinking about an 0300 if I ever have enough money. Then an 0200, 0500, ... :D

I have a ZT 0301 and it is a fantastic knife. :D

You won't be a bit disappointed as it's built like a tank, fits in the hand good cuts extremely well and the S30V holds an edge.

love my zt's...i use a 200 for pretty much for everything that doesn't absolutely need fine cutting...it's strictly a work knife, not an edc for me...

The ZT 0350 was my first knife. Currently, I have it sent to a resident forum-ite that makes custom scales. I'm getting polished, contoured g-10 scales for it. The checker grid g-10 was nice, but living in the south where it gets nice and hot, I got tired of cleaning sweat gunk from the scales. Also, the checker pattern did a number on my jeans pockets even after I bent the clip to relieve some pressure.

Anyway, I love the knife. I can whittle hair with it. Like was already mentioned, it does open with a very noticeable satisfying thwack, so much so that I will stop the blade before it thwacks open if I need to use it in public.

Also, people say it's heavy (website lists it at 6.2 ounces; it's actually 5.8 according to my kitchen scale), but I don't notice it. Often times I check my pocket to make sure it's still there.

I have a 0301, 0200st, and 0350. all have seen duty use, all are great knives. The 0301 is by far my favorite. BTW the edges they come with are sick.

The only downside I can think of is that they're folding bricks. I mean that in the nicest way. These are all big, strong folders that feel great in hand.

I own the ZT 0500 and 0650st and have used the 0200, 0350, and 0400. None are perfect, but all are very good, solid tools. I've been hard on mine, and they barely show wear.

The 0350 is the least "ZT" of the line, being smaller and thinner. It is still more solid than the majority of edc folders. It makes a great daily carry for someone that want's a solid, but not bulky, knife. I don't really like the flat handle scales, especially compared to the excellent handles of the 0200. That's the one thing I'd change if I bought my own.

Your knife is shipping tomorrow, by the way.

Phillip, you post in a ZT thread and we don't get to see you latest work :(

I'll post a WIP pic of my knife. Hopefully he won't mind.

Unpolished, but with the rough shape of it. I asked Phil to make both sides as symmetrical as possible, meaning I wanted him to fill in the cut out that the factory g-10 has to make working the liner lock easier. I never liked this "feature." It also does nothing for me aesthetically speaking. What I like most is that the knife will finally fill my meaty paws. The flat g-10 felt like I was holding a board.

I will get her back next week. :D

That looks good even unpolished

Might need to get me a 0350 one day just for some custom scales :D

350 has sofar been a very good knife. Im not 100% sure if the recurve is more helpful or not, but the belly and the tip portion of the blade is some of the best I've ever seen. It's much smaller than I thought though.

Is it hard to sharpen? and how does it hold an edge? I can buy some sharpening tools or systems... But what do you think :( I don't want to ruin it
