The the jade-green G10 is weird stuff. You can see the torsion bar in action through the scale.

Oh that's not fair. I don't have money for a 350 or custom scales right now. And I have a weak spot for polished G10- that black G10 is *amazing*. I have a Leek with polished G10 scales and it's more than a little like that- how can people say G10 doesn't look good?:D

Can you spot what I asked him to do differently about my knife (the black polished g-10 one)?

Two things right off...no lanyard hole and tip down only.

That's how I carry my knife. Not what I was going to mention, but now that you pointed it out, even I didn't see that. I don't carry lanyards so it's not a problem.

Try again. :D

Rounded off the rear edge of the liners? And they're thicker than the standard G-10 scales.

The groove where you get to the lock is the same on both sides of your knife, whereas the jade G-10 has a cut out to get to the lock?

Seems like it could be more comfortable to hold w/o the cut out, depending on how aggressive the jimping on the lock is as well.

ZT 0350s actually have no lock jimping...even better for me. :D:thumbup:

i have a zt 0350 and a zt 300. imo they are awesome knives that are built to last . the weight isn't a factor and i kinda like it . besides they don't weigh all that much and they are built like a tank. don't let any1 tell u they don't cut good because of the thickness because i used mine a lot yesterday and it cut great. also yes it does have a recurve but it's not a huge one just a slight recurve and i like it. i cut a bunch of stuff with it and it's still sharp. i also like the AO helps keep the blade shut in the closed position and flips it open easy

if i could find some info on the zt100 i could make my decision to get the zt100 or a rat rc-6

After a year of cutting mostly what I should and sometimes what I shouldn't, and dropping it about 6 times onto concrete, the ZT is scratched but performs like the day I bought it.

After grinding a slightly sharper edge angle when I brought it home from the store (no factory edge is sharp enough when you have OCD:o), it's never chipped so I've only had to re-sharpen it with lee valley 15 micron belts and their leather belt with green compound. ZT's S30v is nice steel.

I had some free time last night so I disassembled my ZT0205 and went to work polishing the inside. Polished the liners around the pivot area, the blade around the pivot area, the washers, and the pivot itself. Used my dremel tool along with the red rouge, followed by some polishing compound. When completed I had a near mirror polish on everything. I applied my favorite lube, miltec 1, then reassembled the knife and torqued down the pivot to my liking and went through about 20 openings to get the lube worked in. By the time I was finished the blade was coming out like it was on bearings, with absolutely no blade play locked up, or throughout the opening cycle, just one long and super smooth motion. Man, I love my ZT's!!:D:thumbup:
