Orange Millie for me as well. Although I'm positive the Phoenix is a great knife too.

Next to that Military blade, that Phoenix blade looks a little busy. Not that that's a bad thing but that comes to mind when I look at Jill's picture just above. It probably has a lot to do with how the blade flows into the bolster and ball lock too . . .

So to my *surprise* I actually did what the polls results turned out (99-21 in favor of the Millie)...I kept the Military and got rid of the Phoenix. The Phoenix was a knife I wanted for uncounted months...and when I finally got it, I dunno - it wasn't for me. I do like a lot about the knife - and if it was under $100 I probably would have kept it. But the handle feel, at the bottom edge (don't know the technical term) where the curvature is - feels kinda sharp, and It doesn't feel flush in the hand. Please when I read how the Ti scratches a lot - that is a turn off for me. Not to mention I am left-handed, and this is a right-handed knife, but I was going to overlook that part. So those things and the price made it a non-keeper for me. Sometimes a smaller price can make you look past some negatives about an item, but with a higher price tag to me you gotta just LOVE it, and I like it A LOT, but I do not love it.

So the Millie stays. It's only negative for me is that its a little large...but overall there is everything else to like about it.

You can always trade the orange Millie for something more desireable. ;)
