Orange Groove

I think either combo is OK, the real issues to me are the shape and size of the scales. I think they need a little more room around the edges to show more of the black or stainless.

Like this, with a few other colors to look at too.

Silver twill or Carbon fiber would look great.
 
Yellow and Green , I would much prefer. Tis the Duck fan in me that says no, no , no to orange and black. Seriously though , No would be my vote.

I personally don't like orange too much. Blue or Green would look better in my opinion.
 
Actually beside the silver twill or carbon fiber, olive or tan would look great with the black coatings.
 
I love the black Tanto, that would make me a super superb EDC.

But the orange does it no justice. Silver Carbon fiber on the other hand; wow!!!

What model Kershaw is that anyway??
 
well, i would say no, though the idea of it being a bengals football knife would be perfect for me (even if i am a Colts fan), just for the fact that it would annoy my friend sarah, who is a steelers fan. :D

on a serious note, i would say no to the orange. just don't like it. i do like what KD did with the various colors, namely the blue and red ones. vote is no on the orange, but yes on the other colors.
 
The black/orange combo just screams cheap p.o.s. to me, even though I know these are not junk knives. That may be influenced by my dislike of tantos, though. I prefer the wavy scale shape as well. Interchangeable scales would be great!
 
I like the orange for an outdoors use knife. Other wise too flashy for me. No stealth carry. I like the black version best. How about Urban Camo like on the ET knife. Plain or in different colors. (can that even be done?) That'd be a cool look. Green, brown, and blue might look good. Can someone photoshop the colors in to see?

While the Black & Orange combo look kind of cool, I don't think I'd be into either as an EDC. I can see carrying the Black Tanto version in Carbon Fiber, or G10. Thanks for asking.

Maybe Kershaw could sell a set of scales, either a single set or in a "scale pack" that would include 4 sets of scales for customizing your knife. I would also like to say that CF would be nice, and an OD Green.

I still like the orange myself but seeing all the color desires I think that there could be a few colors supported.
 
That blue looks friggin nasty!..... I would definaly get that or the black with some toxic green. Thats the ticket!
 
Don't forget, the colors other than orange are just the ones I Photoshopped in. If Kershaw did other colors, they may not look like that.

The important part of the images I posted was the suggestion of the smaller scales, so that more of the black would be visible.

Can you photoshop silver twill in??? :confused::D Just kidding, although I might have some work for you if you can do it well :cool:
 
I think that digital camo would be awesome on a Groove.

The tanto has a hollow ground blade, correct?
 
I think some darker colors would be better. Maybe some olive green, tan, darker orange, dark blue, something like that.
