Heck yeah! Where'd you get that orange Endura? Did you dye the FRN yourself?

thx - cpr

I traded some guy here on BF for it. I gave my red blur for the dyed orange endura. He dyed it and did a darn good job didn't he? :D

I voted no. The only things i like orange are oranges. Why don't they make flourescent green or yellow?

I never really understood the whole "easy to see if you drop it in the woods" argument. I personally think that a shiny silver blade is pretty easy to see too. Also I lost my orange whistle in the fall, seems it camouflaged pretty well with the orange leaves.

I love orange/black.

I really like orange handles also. I would love to have an RC-3 with orange scales for EDC, but as a machnist/fabricator they would turn black very quickly so I went with plain grey micarta.

I like orange.

It seems to make a knife more "tool-like", and visibility is a big plus.

Yellow is fine too, and fluorescent green knives are tremendously uncommon and I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't somehow affiliated with the Usual Suspects Network.

Camouflage knives strike me as silly.

I like them in some cases, but in most cases I don not like orange. It's too loud for me. I rich wood colors, blacks and and greens. For a bright G-10 color it's not so bad, I perfer red and blue though. Some knives really pull it off though; the esee knives in orange g-10, the barkrivers in orange g-10, and some customs.

I carry two orange handled knives in the field, a Spydie Military and one by Downeast. I dropped one while chasing my dog and it was easily spotted when I went looking. I'll stick with orange!!

I don't really think they look too hot aesthetically but for practical use orange handles
are a good idea, I've spent an hour or two searching for dropped knives on
several occasions.

Odd that this thread showed up; I was looking through various threads and was thinking how many of these black knives look alike regardless of price, etc. The 'tacticool" has had its day as far as I'm concerned so bring on orange, yellow , red blue, whatever. Have a couple of orange ones; a Ritter grip and a scandi of some sort also a green. Have one red handled folder (bali style but not the showy type, a user) that I have had for years.

I have an orange zing that I think looks really good in that color. I love the color and cant wait to get more knives in orange.

For me it's not a cosmetic thing. I find people raise less eyebrows with an orange knife and they are easy to find in the woods if you drop one.

I only have one orange folder but when I get the chance ill get more visable knives. It catches my eye more so I tend to use them more and if I drop it like others said I can see it easier.

I think garish knife colors make them seem more harmless to NKP. My experience. More people seem to react negatively to my tenacious but when I take out and open my orange military they seem to be amused.
