Order in limbo experience - your advice

For a guy who is politely unobtrusive while being discrete and forceful without confrontation (don't forget humble), you sure do whine a lot!
Chuck, this was a good occasion to not say anything and you blew it. This thread has been dropping for a week, Nick has himself recognized the problem - why do you feel the pervert need to come whip things up? Nick's a big boy, and he can take care of himself. You're just making things worse.

Since you did, I'll respond though.

I don't have any problems getting knives from Nick. He sends me 2-3 knives every month!
This is nice. That means you got between 24 and 36 knives last year from him in the last 12 months. :jerkit:

Assuming this is true though, and given Nick's admission that he only completed 8 knives that went to shows or orders, it means that the others 16 to 28 went to ... what? Online dealers? If so that's a problem for someone who has a 2+ year wait list, don't you think?

I looked through my shop notes, and realized that I've only finished about 8 knives this year that went to orders or shows, and most of those had been started long ago. And I haven't made ANYTHING new in months, due to everything that's been going on around here.

Joss, this was a comment made with a new thing called sarcasm.

Maybe you've heard of it? :jerkit:

Don,

Chuck was a bit harsh but it wasn't an irrational personal attack, he should be able to express his opinion.
