Official Order of Kai Hangout


This is a place for all the members of the Order of Kai subgroup to chit, chat, shoot the breeze (amongst other things), and generally talk about whatever they may choose. The subject matter will vary, but the vibes will remain cool. Why? Because we're all good folk here, who just so happen to have a common problem, addiction to the Kai cutlery.

Rules For Hang-Outery:
1) You must be a member of the Order of Kai subgroup to hang out here.
2) No talk of "nutnfancy". He's annoying, and the group has spoken.​

I'm here!, I see knotty that you have the pic to my sig! I still love the ariel atom so much, I went down to VIR (virginia international raceway) and they have a shop on the grounds where they make the Merican version and have 3 day driving skools! Awesome place to hang out for a day!
 
I was racing Karts at SIR (Seattle) and saw the ariel atom doing a few laps ,that rig is so cool. SIR was a blast to run on.
 
My Saturday was good till I saw a lightly used Ti ZDP189 Mini Cyclone sell on the exchange for $120............And it wasn't me who got it :grumpy:
 
Damn I wish I would have seen that! Not going to shabby here. Sitting around and doing laundry, yay me. I did however find a new micro brew at the store lastnight. Devils Backbone Vienna Lager, looks like they are out of Lexington, Va. Sounds like a nice smooth lager to me, can't wait to crack it open with supper!
 
^Let me know how that goes. Perhaps you could send me a bit of that...and in exchange you could try some stuff from Brooklyn Bewery. :D

I'm waiting for the Skylines...and cleaning the apartment all alone. Too many rum & Cokes...need lunch. Also, listening to George Carlin. Justin, that package from BladeHQ arrive? Are they sexy? Amazing? Pictures!!!

Laundry day for you too, huh? I'm sitting around sharpening knives and watching basketball while I wait. You don't realize how many knives you have until you get a Wicked Edge and decide to put a new polished edge on every single one of them, lol. I'm ready for some NFL tonight, I don't really know what to do with my Saturdays now that college football is over.


By the way, if any Order members ever want a new edge on any of their knives, I will do it for the cost of return shipping. Just wanted to throw that out there. ;)

^Thank you. I've got an Edge Pro, and it does well for me, but I've been curious about that thing. JDavis882 on YT showed some slop on the arm assemblies. Had that been addressed SO?

Yeah I'm kinda sad to see ncaa football over too (even though my team can't play in bcs right meow). I also don't have a horse in the race for the NFL either, since my team fell apart at the hinges.

And laundry day is every day at my house, 3 little ones and my wife, they lookat it and it's dirty!

ND got embarrassed....the tide never stops rolling down in Tuscaloosa
 
They are pretty nice! I checked them for you ;) so they should be good to go! I'll email some info on them, won't be until Monday shipping and all.

They kept my tan company earlier today!

I was sad to see that game. I was hoping they would have been more competitive. The other bowl games were much better to watch.

Stick, if you want to post these pics over in the new skylines thread go for it.

They have addressed it with the new upgrade kit, but I am still determining if it is necessary for me. Even with the slight amount of play, I am much more accurate than I was on my Sharpmaker. The upgrade kit includes new micro-adjustable ball joint and guide rod assemblies allowing for adjustments of +/- .05 degrees, a new riser block allowing for angles down to 13 degrees, and a longer base rod calibrated to the new riser and arms.
