Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Good Times & Joyous Knives

Ok guys, I need your help. I have been on this forum for 5 months and 2 days. I like to feel like I know a lot about Kershaw knives, but I can't seem to get things to stick to my mind. I have notes written down like all of the variations of the Skyline and production numbers of knives, but nothing just seems to stick. Is there any way I can remember these things? I think that over-time, things will start to develop, but I feel like I'm behind the rest of the "pack".

I worked my butt off for 9 hours, even did some hard cutting with the 560. Like strait up slicing 10 gauge wire, and push cutting big truck sway bar bushings. But now I'm home touching up my edge on a 12" messermeister ceramic rod. If I get a roll or ding I would hit just that spot on a course stone, then move to the ceramic rod. And if an edge is very damaged or needs re profiling I will break out the old lanskey. But alas I suck at sharpening, my edge will cut paper clean, but wont shave hair.

:encouragement:

Real negative Sat. for me and unfortunately won't end when the day does. Such is life.

Love SIR nwmetalbug, very fun challenging course. If you have the horse power, the long straight away will get you enough speed to make the blind off camber turn 1 terrifying!

Nice pic solidorange. Can you find the blem?

Can't win them all brother. Keep your head up!

Blem is pretty easy to find on the Volt, the Ti is scratched between the pivot and the stop pin on the locking side. I am actually kind of glad I got a blem though, I don't know that I would have been able to talk myself into carrying it if it was not.

Knotty the way I memorized the skyline serial numbers is searching for them so much trying to track them down.

Keep your head up 2 shot:thumbup:

Knotty dont feel bad I remember the ones I like and struggle with the others. I could look up some 15 times and still not remember it.

Got to work on two of my projects tonight.. My Drag/AutoX Dodge Stealth and my Hayabusa I'm slowly trying to rebuild since by accident 10 years ago

The Stealth will be making around 750-850 AWHP once I'm done. I sold the car years 2+ years ago..but the people who bought it blew the motor a couple weeks later...So after it sitting for almost 2 years I bought it back and will slowly turn it into a beast....very slowly as funds aren't in my favor

3 of the Stealths I have as a Donor cars...Gonna be a FrankenStealth once finished.

Mr. Rival, I replied to your email reply some time ago. Not sure if you got it, but if I send you the handle scales, would you be interested in doing Blur inserts in the lightning strike carbon fiber?

Thanks for the support guys.

Oh god the car days. I would be king of the knife world if I had the money I spent building a 1979 Porsche 930. Sold it on ebay 5 or 6 years ago for $25,000. It went back to Germany.

420HP 2900lbs. I hit 160mph through turn 1 a SIR.

greeenie, give the logo a go following solidoranges directions. Not hard to do but for guys like us very time consuming. Look at mine for crying out loud, damn basic and kind of kid like. Couldn't keep it within the lines. After I got it like it is I tried to put a rattle snake skin back ground on it many many times to no avail.

We've got about 26 inches of snow in the past two days. Snowblower somehow cracked it engine block. Had to drop some serious coin on a new one. Plus a new sectional for the wife. Hence my for sale thread. Sucks but that's life. How bout that Ravens/Broncos game.

Then I'd think you were crazy

Now that we're on the subject of cars, and my favorite brand, my dad has a manual '93 Dakota. Nothing special, but it gets him where he wants to go. His favorite part about it is that It's four-wheel drive, so when the trail that he drives on to get to his hunting spot is a little rough, he'll be able to get through. The muffler on just recently went out, so you'd have to literally yell to hear the person next to you. He also got a warning from an officer to get it fixed, which he did so now you can have a normal conversation. He's always telling me about "how much horsepower" it's got . Crazy old man.
