man, when i was in school i used to walk 4 miles in foot deep snow, up hill both ways. you young kids dont know what its like having it hard. I drove a 91 cherokee in high school and have two civics and a 2wd 94 mazda b2300 now. aint nothin stoppin me in the snow

98 - 01 or a 4.0 high output from 90-96. Best part about them is almost all the parts are interchangeable from 84- 01, except a few pieces
And if you wanted you could get a 5 spd, you just have to look. The 4 runners are nice, but it is so much more expensive to buy, more expensive and harder to mod because of the ifs ( independent front suspension). They are nice just have to have a lot deeper pockets to get where you want. Parts are more expensive too.
I had a 98 cherokee and it was a tank. I did the research and they are the cheapest and easeist to mod period. I'll find a pic in a bit for ya.
 
I thought I was finally going to get a Cherokee (2000). Had a friend who knew I was going to buy his and then he went and traded it in because he saw a Rubicon at the dealer and they talked him into a trade. Guess the Durango and its heroic 5.9l will be around a while longer.

I have a 98 grand limited 5.9 right now!
 
Jeeps are great. We had a (Can't remember the year) Wagoneer when we still lived in California. It was awesome. My mom got a red 93 (I think) Cherokee when we moved here and drove the hell out of it. She hardly ever changed the oil (Or any other fluids for that matter) and it lasted her 232,000 miles until the transmission started acting up when changing from 2nd to 3rd.

My dad got a white 98 5.9 L Limited ZJ and that was a beast as well. He had all sorts of toys for that car. It got totaled when a guy ran into him with a Mercedes unfortunately. Now I'm the only one in my family that has one. A black 96 Cherokee Country.

Most Jeeps aren't very good on gas which is something to think about especially since this is going to be your first car. Hard to get a safer and more foolproof car though.
 
So now there's a thread in the Spyderco section about them starting a group like ours. It's quite adorable, you can tell they're jealous.

I wouldn't have mentioned it if that duro character didn't crap on the Order of Kai name. Pffff. Oh well. I enjoy our hangout here.

Hey, I don't get the A+ treatment from my family. :D. I'm the one in the house that has to take care of the fireplace, even if that means going outside at 12:00 in the morning and getting a load of wood for the night. I have to keep it going 24/7. I hate snotty little brats like some of the people at my school. All they've got to do is ask and they shall receive. I asked for a job earlier this Winter at my local party store. He said business is slow right now because of the Winter, but things should be heating up in the Spring and Summer when everyones out on the lake. He said if he needs any help then he'll let me know.

I got a 96' Honda Civic with just over 100K. Talked the guy down to 3 grand even. Its been a good car. I had to change out the brake cables initially. Zero problems in one year so far though.
