I didn't say snob. I said junky. There is a difference
. Really there is.
Haha. I won't pass up a knife really based on steel. But I am a huge fan of some of these crazy performers out now.my bad lol i dont read good apparently
Not really. The Becker forum has had a group for along time now. And USN has had groups upon groups over there. Matter of fact, they have had Zero Tolerance Zealots for awhile.I can't make up my mind on how I feel about the Spyderco Group. On one hand, they're kind of copying us. On the other hand, they make great knives like Kershaw and deserve to have a group. I don't know.
!Drop on by and say whuhdduppp...
.
Murray Carter challenges everyone to go too thin. And then back off from what too thin is. You could try what I have been doing. Roughly 12 degree secondary bevel per side, then a 30 degree microbevel. If it cant handle it, just thicken the angles up a bit.I don't have a problem with a Spyderco group at all. As long as they don't start badmouthing us awesome peeps. Spyderco and Kershaw/ZT are my favorite knife companies by far.
On a brighter note. My new EP stone is ready to be used. Epoxy fully set an hour ago. I'm gonna reprofile that Manix that I reground tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with how well 154cm holds up with low angles? I want this thing to slice like no other but don't want to waste my time if the steel can't handle low angles well.
I probably missed it, but seelow didn't u say u were from ky?

Anytime. If you are bored here is a good read from Zknives. I think it is posted over in Maintenance Tinkering and Embellishment too. Joe Talmadge is the author. Are you talking about the thing with Duro? I live in KY right now but I'm from california if that's what you're talking about. I'm confused lol.
That's a good idea. Don't know 'till you try it I guess. I think I'll go with that 12 per side with 30 degree microbevel. Thanks!
I think Esav is attempting to shut it down anyway, just got word.
So Got my New DLC today...So I got #069 and #020...Some interesting differences..#020 has a Matte looking CF scale, It came with a Zipper Pouch and the Box is Different...Weird!
