you mean like "solidorange"? :p

that will work.

most people actually end up calling me "Clemson". I'm sure this has nothing to do with it:

Now thats dedication!^^

Bob I can see you now, all cozied up in front of the fire, wearing your leapord print undergarments, wrapped in a polar bear rug.
I think I need to go flush my eyes out now... we are horrible people!

Anyway, I have been edcing my Mc boa this week, I like it! The belly on it has been much more usefull than I would have thought. I really like how the backspacer is aluminum and splattered with paint just like the scales are, it is a very nice touch!

I am excited to get an orange leek gonna put my composite blade in it! I keep looking at them and I know a purple is in the cards for my wife, the blur was too big for tastes.

I cant resist any longer. I enjoy moderate to short walks on the beach, if you have been to a WA beach you would understand. I love seeing the world, if the world is the pacific NW. I embrace all cultures, Japanese food, Italian food, Mexican food, I could go on... I enjoy a candle light dinner, it keeps my electric bill low. Then I enjoy cuddling by the fire, I heat my house with wood like a real man. Often you can find me sipping on red wine reading a book, and by red wine I mean a 3-4 beers and by book I mean in the back yard splitting fire wood.

Bob you crack me up!

English midterm done. Hate to say it, but I have a suspicion I failed. There goes my B+ average. But according to the teacher no one has gotten above a 69%

English is tough. Last semester I got an 82% on my final paper because I forgot a works cited page. This semester we are in groups of 3-4 dong a collaborative 40 page paper.

Ya I feel better now :)

Juju are you looking through my window?

SO, looks like you are orange for life!

Spanish midterm completed, it was super easy. Awesome teacher, doesn't care if or phones are out. One more to go for today, then I get out at 12.

From the looks of that sentence, your English midterm may not go as smoothly. :p

I start grad school at the end of this month. Huzzah!

I feel for ya steel, I always preferred solo projects as I don't like having to rely on others. You know what kind of job you can do but there is always that one person in the group that just tries to ride on your work.

Well this is a bit off topic but I swear people in the general knife discussion are gonna think I work with Dave. So many threads start out like "I have a budget of xxx-xxx and am newer to the knife world and looking for recommendations on what to get". My mind instantly says "well what do you know Dave has a _________ blem in that range that is much nicer than anything you will pay retail for in that range", so of course my response is always "you need to contact a guy on here by the name of Kershawguy and order this blem. Lol I just can't help it.

Look what email I just recieved.
Mark,
You received a 94% on the English midterm. Great job!

I'm similar, but I point them to a CF Blur. Dave doesn't have any more of those, so it doesn't go as smoothly, however even after those are sold out, I'll still push people to get them. It's good that you push Dave's stuff, I'd prefer reading that than "Well, you could save up for another year and get a Mini Griptilian. :D"

Congratulations. It's good to get good grades to quell the anxiety. By the way...mid terms in mid-January? Hmmmm....odd. I'm in between semesters, but I'm not familiar with the school curriculum in NC.

So...some stuff about myself? Hmmm...I love to read, almost to my detriment. I've studied literature the last four years, after finally settling on a major in college. Got through British Lit and most early history, dabbled in global literatures, and spent a good long while enveloped in American literature. Before all that, I majored in music performance (percussion). I enjoy sitting at home, reading Poe while my wife grades papers. We argue about Shakespeare, and sometimes cuddle on our couch while watching NCIS. I'm (clearly) a New Yorker. In some ways, I'm what you'd assume a typical NYer to be, but in other ways I'm not. Long walks on the beach? I don't even know what a beach is. Is that the edge of the sidewalk that touches the filthy water flowing along the streets?

Up until the last couple of years, I played in several bands in the underground NYC club scene, did a LOT of studio session work for rich Long Island singer/songwriters whose parents thought they were the next Kelly Clarkson. I'm a music fan, and a really decent drummer.

I hate Microtech, and think Benchmade is lame. I have a small soft spot for Spyderco, but it's more like a mole on my butt. I also don't feel the need to carry a fanny pack full of garbage with goofy nicknames and three knives with labels attached to them. For some reason, telling an attacker to hold off a second while I dig through my purse looking for my "emergency tactical knife" doesn't seem like it's for me. :D

Thankfully the teacher has a good plan for us. We each do twelve pages in consecutive order for groups of three, and about 13 for groups of four. We each use a different font so he can grade us separately as well, in case of a slacker. I don't claim to be the most literate person. But I love learning and I am trying to break free of today's typical mindset that learning is for losers. Knowledge is power.

Currently I cannot decide on a major so I am just going for a General Studies Degree. I am looking at Fort Lewis College in Colorado as they have intuition waver for individuals of Native American descent. I am only an eighth, it appears that it may be enough though.

I have a mini grip and without going into a ton of detail... It will be the last time I buy into all the hype and most likely the last benchmade I will ever own.

I mean let's not turn this into a BM hate thread, but I'm really not much of a fan. I think they're overpriced, and everything kinda looks the same to me in their lineup. I did wish I could have picked up a full size ruckus while they were still around, but oh well.

I have had my eye on a contego though. I've held one, very nice feel.

Oh. And I hate the beach (it's the sand) I love beer, knives, and rugby. Football is a fine substitute. And food. I love me some food.

I am not much of a beach person either. I go to Lake Michigan each year with my mom, grandma, and four brothers for the memories. There are some cool area's in Michigan. The UP is really fun to explore.
