+1 Benchmade is a fine company. I Prefer Spyderco and Kershaw/ZT but that's just my taste.
BTW, Was there an unveiling of the new US made Kershaws? I've seen the new ZT models and the Chinese Kershaws but no US made ones. I'd love to see what they are working on. As long as it's made with Titanium though....

I'm with you. I tried another which was the 950. Good looking knife but again overpriced. The axis lock feels cheap to me for some reason. No hate towards the company but just not my cup of tea. I'll stick to my Kershaw/ZT and Spyderco.

Yeah I didn't mean to start anything, kinda wishing id just kept it to myself anyway back on KAI, eventually I know exactly where I am going when I decide to start my kitchen knife set in the future

I ended up getting a set of pure komchi 2's. You can't beat them for the price. My wife is scared of them though because she cut her thumb on the bread knife, being used to the old crappy one we had. I would love to find one of the original blocks for them though because my set did not come with one.
