I can see it now. A bunch of greasers hanging out at the school telling all the uncool kids "Don't be a square, take your secondary bevel lower. All the cool kids are doing it!"

I like to experiment with edges as well. I'm actually thinking about taking my manix as low as the Edge Pro will go whenever it's in need of a reprofiling again. I think it's about 11 or 12 dps right now and it cuts extremely well. I believe Unit took his ZDP-189 Stretch down to like 9 degrees per side and IIRC it held up very well. Craziness!
