Lol it's because we popped up so fast in such large numbers. At least one other group was made quicker but we actually got the manufacturer's support and have serious organization. You see our sigs way more often than other groups. Combine that with the fact that all of our members are mature and truly good people and that goes a long way. Although we are fans we don't hate and bash on other brands, many of us have knives from other companies as well. All that combined makes us strong, we are accepting and people like joining us. The downside is that all that good stuff will make certain people angry and they will try to bait us into a confrontation to tarnish the image. The upside is that it appears everyone here is to clever to take the bait :)
 
So I got a Interview tomorrow to be a Chef at a Hospital. Hope it goes well!!! Need that knife $$ haha

As a teacher who was laid off, sold cars, taught, laid off again, and finally got a permanent teaching gig, I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK BROTHER! Keep fighting. But if it does go sideways, and you need some extra cash, I'd be happy to take a couple Skylines off your hand ;)
 
I feel like telling you guys something. I was assigned a poster project for my businness class. We had to break up the poster into 3 different categories. The categories had to be where we wanted to be in life in 5,10 and 15 years. When I heard this I knew exactly what I was doing for 5 years. I printed out 3 pictures (black and white), one had the Kershaw logo, one was the line to get into the Warehouse Sale, and the other was a bunch of people looking in boxes of blems and crowded around. I got all of those glued (NO, not super glue!), and than I wrote down little descriptions of each picture. I'm actually pretty proud if how this turned out. Usually with these kind of projects I just half-ass it, but this one was different because I was able to do something I care and love about.

I don't think there's really any fun in a group with little to no requirements that you can just join. I like to earn my position even if it is something small. That's just my opinion though.

Now the question is, did they mean a literal place? Or do you think it was more of a, "Where do you want to be in the path of life?" This is the teacher in me playing devils advocate. Good luck on this assignment.
 
No requirements=no way to keep the riff raff out. You end up with trolls picking fights in the name of your group and hurting your reputation. I hope it works out for them but it is gonna take more policing than a group that is a little tougher to join. If it takes some effort most trouble makers don't wanna put forth that effort just to do their thing.

That's pretty cool. It's great to work on something you're passionate about and have it turn out nice. I did an in depth report on the composition of steel in my senior year and loved it.
