Phil (The Preacher) Is great to work with. Fit and finish was Perfect. Keeth(Rival) is also Great. and of course Barry H. makes amazing scales too.. 3 Great scale makers.. I've owned scales from all 3 makers and they were all great.. Only scale I never like was a LSCF one Peter R. made..nothing lined up good.

I'll have to send Phil or Keeth an email when I get some disposable income then. That CF and toxic combo is stellar.

Its holding up great riding in my poclet with a lighter and sometimes a cell phone as well. It shows less wear than the stock g10 scales do imo.

P.s. for anyone who recently got a pm (you know what im speaking of if you did) I just want to let you know I responded explaining what I believe was a simple misunderstanding and hopefully cleared the air some. If this makes no sense to you the just disregard its no biggie lol.

Custom scale makers have trouble getting things to be perfect, i also believe knives can be a little different depending on batches. For example, the one i got from chester I had to trim with some 150 grit sandpaper where the bladestops make contact with the handle (yet it fit chester's perfect). I got two scales from rival and one lined up perfect while the other required some trimming as well, it really is no big deal. 99 cents for a peice of sandpaper and about 10 min of your time and you are good to go.

Maybe I'll let you have my user DLC clip....maybe...

Ah! I'm floored at the mere possibility! Thanks man! It's been raining cold hard awesome in here. :D

In the next few days, I'll be attempting to put a finger choil on the 0560. Hope it goes well.

I have been looking all day for my home made strop. The damn thing has disappeared! Man that chaffes my gentleman vegetables  . Its about 2 and a half foot long and made out of a 1x4, how hard could it be to find! AHHH! I'll be right back, I need a beer!

Gentleman vegetables eh? I'm stealing that phrase. :D

If you can't find it, I'll try to make you another one. All I'll need is all the materials and a tutorial! Hope you find it amigo!

Thats what I used to do, but I have had great success with my home made and green compoud! It puts an almost a polished edge on my knives.

Consider it on loan! It only cost me about $5 to make. It has to turn up sometime! I could have sworn it was in my office?

I can't strop to save my life. Every time I try it just dulls the knife and leaves infuriated. I got my Techno back from pimping a couple days ago and the guy stropped it his Wicked Edge. Wow! Very refined edge. I wish I could do that.

Try stropping with the knife a little flatter.
