No worries! I have been subbed to you for awhile as well :). I used to have it in my link. When I realized there were some people here with derision towards youtubers I took it out. Didn't wan't to draw extra haters lol. My Orange Zing should be here tomorrow. That means twelve hours of waiting through the work day.

0550 choil - I really wish they had gone with the one showed on the prototype. I have been considering sending mine out to have it done ever since I got my Strider. I love the control you have with a grip that far up on the blade.

People got pissed when I ate their apples, but as a cute deer they just take my pic :D I tried to dress as a giant apple first but that just freaked people out. I was making a squirrel suit until I found this thread, bunch a squirrel murderers.

Yeah, the salesman I went on the test drive with asked me what it would take for me to drive one of the new ones home that night (he knew I liked the white one they had on the floor). They are both manuals with the added TRD exhaust (which sounds pretty darned good!). I told him quite seriously, I'd be an idiot to buy one right now given I may very well be getting laid off in a couple months. I then went on to say if that was NOT the case, they would have to let me test drive a stick (one of the ones on the floor) before I'd even consider it. Prior to Winter, they had the luxury of keeping them prisitne on the floor because they would sell so fast. Not so much now. Both the white and grey one are still sitting in there as of last night. He was cool about it and said that wasn't his choice, and I told him I knew that but he should make a point to mention it to his sales manager (I would NEVER buy from this dealership due to their crooked ownership; the family owns other dealers too). I also mentioned that it would be nice if they offered the HID/LED lights from the GT86, which he laughed about.

I've been following the development for a few years now too. I came *this* close to signing up for the first 86 right when it went live, and very likely could have been one of them (there weren't any here). Since I wasn't sure about some of the options I wanted (and I'm still not), I didn't go for it. It looks like I might have made the right choice for a few reasons. One of them is that rumor has it that the Sti and TRD models will have forced induction (Turbo Scoobie, Supercharged Scion) from the factory, which would be pretty SWEET!!! :D :thumbup:

I test drove the Subbie Version and it was awesome... But Ever Since I Test Drove the CTS-V Wagon, Nissan GTR and the Lexus IS-F everything else feels slow...also am good friends with a richie rich old man and Have Been a passenger in a 1200 hp Viper and 1400hp Lambo made by Underground Racing and have been power hunger ever since

Since we're on the topic of cars, what do you guys drive?

I drive a '96 Jeep Cherokee Country. Nothing fancy but very reliable and will go just about anywhere. Terrible on gas though (About 14 mpg)

The sound those maserati granturismo's make is just rediculous and should be considered an eargasm. The Lfa makes a sweet sound too, almost
f1-ish. You sir suck.

Yeah..it was really fun when coming back from Dyno Tuning his Viper and a Ford GT pulled up to us on a Closed Section of Road and the Last Thing I remember on the speedo was 200+.. and then I got to his house and my KIA felt like a bicycle lol

And for people who don't follow Racing that is the wonder boy Dale Jr

That IS understandable - however, the other ones cost at least 2x as much... ;)
