Here you go...

The steel is made from the following:

We use (3) layers of 52100, (4) layers of 5160, (3) layers of 203E, and (3)
layers of 15N20.

The steel is forged out and folded 5 times to give you 416 layers.

Thanks
Lacy
Alabama Damascus Steel

Their website states it's 5160, 51200, 203E and 15n20. Pretty dang cool.

EDIT: Chester beat me to it!

Greenie, I'm saving the 120 for a special occasion. Not sure what yet, but damnit it's gonna wait lol.

And that skyline looks great steel

So essentially it's carbon steel...? I have one of the older Damascus Skylines, and one of the two I got from Dave is going to Knotty. I also got a blem regular Skyline coming, I was going to take the scales and parts and put them on the older DAM Skyline to freshen it up, then maybe put a new edge on it and use it. What do you guys think?

I'd like to start using a Skyline again, but I'm torn between the beauty of the Damascus and the awesomeness of the BFC S30V flat ground blade...

Also, I don't remember where it was posted, but I was led to see a video of a Muslim gentleman hitting himself in the back with a sword. That...did not exactly brighten my day up.

Lastly, f**k rootkits.

Hey Chester, can you pm me the damascus site, there are two or three I want to see if they have

You got it!
They also have Serrated Cryos in Black..didn't even know those were being made..

If you carry the Damascus Blade made sure to keep it nice and oiled regularly to keep it from rusting..especially in humid NY :).. You can also use bees wax.
