My fathers side of the family is Jewish you know?

Have you guys heard this joke? Why do jews have big noises?

The blade fell on my thumb not long ago, and sliced the knuckle open passed the skin and into the muscle with no effort. Skin opened up, not a spot of blood. I now that feeling pretty well. you feel it make contact but don't feel any pain. I had a condor machete that was like that and I still have the scar on my shoulder from it. It is pretty cool to see the inside of your arm before you start bleeding.

Don't you have an Edge Pro? I imagine you could get you TILT even sharper than it is right now if you used the EP on it.
 
i refuse to touch my tilt.... no way i want to detract from its value like that. Debating sending it off to kershaw for a touch up

I imagine Kershaw would take off more steel than you would with the Lansky. They use belt grinders IIRC. I would just do it at home and be very careful.

Assuming you mean noses...something about air being free. I never really liked that joke, I didn't find it funny. *shrugs* That being said, I saw Old Jews Telling Jokes off Broadyway recently, and it was hilarious. That Borscht Belt style comedy just doesn't get old.

Indeed I do, but even so, I don't think I could. It's likely just luck for this edge, but I don't have enough experience yet to get THAT sharp an edge. And still, I don't want to touch it. We'll see what happens though when the 0560CFCB rolls in. I wonder what I could get with some S110V...

I thought you wanted a user TiLT? Or was that DBag? Either way, careful with sending it in for a sharpening. Sometimes (just sometimes) they get a bit overzealous with their sharpening wheels...and more steel goes away than I'd personally care for.

These jokes aren't that funny, anne frankly I think we should go no furher. I can see how some of these can make some one get furherious. Seriously I need my concentration. Kampf you see that? Jew should probably gestappo now, because I don't want to panzer to the crowd. That joke might also be pattoned.
 
I did want a user tilt, but this one is in just too good shape, i cant stand to see it abused. some day ill find a $200 beat up tilt i dont mine f***ing up. when i do, ill put a nasty edge on it

I feel you. Some edges are just so good you don't want to risk dulling it and not being able to get it back to that level of sharpness. Any word on when the 0560cfcb is coming out? I haven't heard anything about it for awhile. I her s110v is quite a pain to sharpen (reprofile) I bet you can get some crazy edges with it though.

That's fine with me. I'm hoping the price wards at least some people away so I can get two. I'm liquidating a lot of my collection to get two of those babies.

Nope, I didn't even try. It didn't interest me all that much. Not even in the way that it's too nice to carry. It's just not for me. I think it's very very good looking, and likely a spectacular piece, one that I would love to hold and fondle at some point, but I'm not interested in owning it. The 0560CFCB is the only limited ZT that's in the lineup that I'm really really hoping for. If a 0777 pops up in my direction, I'll likely snag it for Mr. Chet in the event that he's unsuccessful, but that's about it. I would rather see everyone in the Order that really really wanted one get one than me have one and be so-so about it.
