Nooooo don't even think about it!!!!....hot glue burns are some of the worst I've ever had its like napalm it burns and burns and won't come off...you need super glue!
 
Ok I found some sterile strip things. Used those instead, along with some guazz. My dad has opted for urgent care in the morning
