I'm officially 4 hours into sharpening this HEST. I'm taking another break but I've almost apexed the entire edge. The tip has the most material to take off now. I will NEVER reprofile another HEST, that's for sure.

All that blood left my hand in less than 30 seconds. My hand is tingly, I'm light headed, and dizzy due to the loss of blood.

Ohh, well that's not good. What did he say/do? Did you get in any sort of trouble? Sorry if I did.

Do you like the Persistance? I was thinking I wanted my first Spyderco to be the Tenacious, but I kind of liked the Persistance.

Other than it gouging my hand?? Yea I like it. A little overpriced IMHO, but whatever.
No I didn't get in trouble, but I was questioned on what kind of people I was hanging out with.
Nothing some paracord and a washcloth can't handle. I hope my mom isn't pissed for killing her washcloth.

Ahhh how we must all be stuck here wondering what that note said......and I think he cut will be fine just as long as you keep it clean, also my recommendation would be to thoroughly clean it (alcohol/Hydrogen peroxide then wash it out) and super glue it shut...
