Nice score chester, I'm loving my cc smf.

So I'm selling mad knives going to have a lot of coin to drop on a knife, Want to try out striders DGG, but I'm also been wanting another sebenza, or do I save the money and jump on the next 777 I see?

I have always wanted to try a DGG as well, but everything people are saying about it seems to be true. Its an absolute pocket shredder.

I’d say find a custom you like... theres just something about knives that are hand built that are appealing to me right now.

Hello everyone. Been a bit busy, but I did get all the giveaway prizes out yesterday. They should be trickling in this week. :D

I went to a drum clinic last night with some my favorite drummers. Got the whole thing on my camera, so that'll be going up this week. I'll also be doing some Wicked Edge videos this week since Knotty's knives arrived.

Hopefully I'll be able to make a short video answering your questions about the WE this week to answer your questions. I went for the Pro Pack 1, and have spent a lot of time with it. So far, it's been absolutely brilliant. I think anyone thinking about it should spring for it, but I'm happy to be another WE user that can do up some edges for you guys in the Order.

Well I'm learning to freehand sharpen, so I'll let you know, if I need you to fix my edge

I was thinking of getting the pro pack 2 but im not sure if i really need all that fanciness. What made you decide to go for the 1 inatead of the 2 besides the huge price difference.

I can only freehand sharpen my Chef knives..and I only do that like 2 times a year as my honing steel keeps it pretty dam sharp on it's own... My hands are to Shaky to do my folders, so I'd rather have a pro do it.

I find I'm pretty good actually. I can get a preexisting edge shaving sharp, but I don't think I'd be good at reprofiling, but who knows? I've never tried to

I had a dream last night that I got an email letting me know that my 0560CBCF ZT's were being shipped out........

For those of you who care to know, kids cars did pretty well in the pinewood derby. My older sons car made it to 11th place, youngest sons about 15th out of 40 or so cars. Daughters didn't fair too well. My youngest sons places 2nd in design overall. My old boyscout car from the early 90's placed 3rd overall in the open class for speed, placed second last year! Way back in the day It placed 3rd or 4th overall in speed.

By the way, I had asked for people to guess what 2 out of 3 were based on and the answers are, the one you thought looked like a batmobile was based off an old jag xk140 and the second one was a 1970 mustang mach 1.
Thanks to those who actually took the time to guess!

Well, I didn't need the riser or the micro adjustment arms. I don't really ever go below 15* per side, and you can get micro adjustment but flipping the arm securement bar around and use the flat face instead of the holes for the thumb screw. I also didn't need more than one set of strops, and wasn't sure if I needed more than the 1000 grit. So far, the 1000 grit is a great finishing grit, and the strops finish that off very nicely as is.

The package I received had a metal washer in the joints that eliminated the arm play from the initial generation, so apart from that I see no real reason to get all of the extra stuff. I also had an angle measure from when I had the Edge Pro. So far, I've been getting brilliant results.

Sure thing, I'd be happy to.

I care! So the pinewood derby is similar to a soapbox derby right?

Auto correct I assume!

And I asked a few days ago but it got ignored, I'll ask again though,

Has anyone here heard of OBEX Design Knives? The gentleman asked me about a trade for one of his pieces and I had never heard of them till then. I looked around and seen a handful of pretty nice pieces I would like to own (Munchkin mk-1/mk-2, and the reaper mk-1). Any info would be most helpful.

Thanks brother.

Soap box is a gravity car you can sit in and steer, brake, etc...
Pine wood is the smaller version where you have a block of white pine 7" long x 1 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide. It works on the same principles (gravity), just way smaller scale. Track is usually around 30', you drop from an incline.
