While that crap dose suck...have you every been judo flipped by a brown belt in judo? I'm not meant to go that fast in mid air.

(I landed flat on my back BTW)

I've never been judo flipped. Probably the closest thing I've had happen to that is in 5th grade our school took us to a YMCA place for 3 days and we were jumping off of the diving board (couldn't do back-flips, but front-flips were legal) and I attempted a front-flip and I landed flat on my back. I got the wind knocked out of me.
 
I hope my mom's not surprised when I tell her I want to spend about $500 on a knife sharpener. I already told her about it and she just kind of nodded her head.
 
Hmm, I have sustained some pretty serious injuries. I go to the hospital when I need stitches or staples lol. I have a picture of my worst cut. But it may be too graphic.
 
I really wish the skyline had the blade thickness of the fixed blade version. I just picked up a fixed blade and am absolutely loving it. I got it with a kydex sheath and its a really cool set-up.

That about sums up the feeling...I basically sat there gasping for a good 5 seconds, and this morning I realized some of the most embarrassing things that have every happened to me have happened because of or while my instructor was there...lol

$500? Where do you kids get all this dough. The job I am quitting now, to go to a new one. I had 392 hours of work time in just over two months.

We were swimming at a river. The river had eroded a deep area that was awesome for swimming. Anyway my cousin sees a snake chilling on the branches near us. It was pretty big. I have no issue with snakes except for when they may run into me while swimming. So we were going to hit the snake with a stick. I hopped up on the bank and my cousin waded up river a tad. The snake started to move so I hopped off the bank and as I did I felt the sensation of something cold and thin hitting my foot. Sat down, took a look, and that was there. Two worst things. I had been cut there before (garbage) and still didn't wear shoes. I didn't know what cut me so I had to get x-rays and wait two hours to be stitched up and painkiller of any form administered. The only time I have nearly passed out from blood loss too.

I've said I'm going to be doing corn detasseling for about the past week lol.
 
That's pretty metal Steeley:thumbup: I haven't broken many bones but I have scars from cuts all over my body. Mostly on my hands and fingers. The worst cut I had was on my shoulder from a Condor Inca knife. It was a little less than a half inch deep and about an inch wide. Everyone wanted me to get stitches but I hate hospitals so I didn't. I probably should have because it scarred pretty badly. It didn't hurt at all really but it bled a lot.

I had my ESEE 4 slid from the middle of my middle finger tip down to the base/joint and that hurt like a mother. It scarred as well and I have a permanent hump in my finger. Healed up nicely though.
