I've got a scar on my right palm about the size of a pencil eraser from a kid in 6th grade who heated up a metal part on a colored pencil with a hair-dryer in art class for about 5 minutes. He said "give me your hand", so I did. It hurt.
 
We hit 600 pages! lol wooooooooow. I bet if we deleted everyone’s comments, except for Knottys, we’d be at 300 pages. HAHAHA
 
You know it's interesting to look in the political section every now and then and remind myself that by nature, a knife forum would be primarily people that disagree with me on things and would likely judge me in a less-than-kind way. Hmmm...

Everyone wanted me to get stitches but I hate hospitals so I didn't. I probably should have because it scarred pretty badly. It didn't hurt at all really but it bled a lot.

I had my ESEE 4 slid from the middle of my middle finger tip down to the base/joint and that hurt like a mother. It scarred as well and I have a permanent hump in my finger. Healed up nicely though.

I dont like hospitals either haha. Like finger cuts and stuff. Unless my finger is barely hanging there, I will just butterfly it shut lol.

Like a boss! Hospital bills are friggin expensive! My brother f'ed his face up on some concrete stairs last year and they're still sending us bills just for the stitches and painkiller crap. Ridiculous.

Yah that is. The nine stitches in my foot would have been $1600.00 if we hadn't had insurance. That is just rediculous I think haha.

My sister was born at 28 weeks (I believe) and was put in the nicu (neonatal intensive care unit) for a couple months. $250,000.(yes that's a comma) Thank God for the insurance company.
She's perfectly fine BTW. Possibly Satan in human form, but healthy :p :D

My mom works there, and she says on average, a day in the NICU, costs $11,000

Haha, I have an open wound on my hand from last night. My 2013 scion frs with 3000 miles on it needed rear tires, the threads were showing and starting to break. My wheels did not fit on the tire machine at work. No problem.
I used the spade on a heavy wrecker to pop the bead, and two pry bars, some pb blaster as lube, and some cardboard to protect the rim. Got them done in 45 minutes, and I grabbed one of the old tires and the steel wires. Sliced me open right in the seam of my palm...
The wound really hurts when I wash my hands...
 
I get worse cuts from non-knife objects. I cut myself on accident with the serrated tape thing that you cut the tape with on my leg.
