Ya Mark. I sold it a long time ago. Probably around '92 or '93.

Called hood pins, they are to replace factory hood latch in the event of a wreck. The factory latch is still there, but they are also functional. I work on them, i know

They are for hood pins and they are functional although the hood has a typical hood latch also. They originally had cables but I took them off because they were scratching the hood along the very front edge.

Sad to hear that....my grandpa had a stingray (can't remember what year), IIRC it was ox blood red...
 
I'm a die hard Corvette fan, but love all old classic and muscle cars.

My next car will be a 2013 Carbon Edition Z06 like this one.

 
Love the laguna seca ed! I'm not a corvette fan but I do like the first gen vette and third gen stingrays (splitwindow)
 
Bad day for lights today...clip on my Olight S10 snapped just putting it back on the light. ZL SC52 has a crap ton and a half of dust on the reflector and inside the lens.

Both are going back tomorrow. Luckily the S10 came from Amazon so that's easy. I ordered another one from GoingGear, since there aren't any more at regular price at Amazon, and Olight hasn't answered a single email of mine that I've sent, despite my emailing them for various things over the last month. So, I doubt they'll answer my email about the broken clip.

I didn't realize the dust in the Zebralight until I cleaned the lens today. It looks like a planetarium on the reflector when the light is on. The dealer was more than amicable, and actually is sending out a replacement tomorrow before he gets this one back. He said he's never gotten that kind of complaint, so I'm hoping it's a rare QC slip.

So, back to the Foursevens Mini MA for now, until those things arrive.
