Good morning Mark!!

Is the '70 Boss your dream car?? Or you just liked the pic? I prefer the '69 tail lights and headlights myself!

I realized I should just search for the KE thread, which I did and I found it.

It is indeed my dream car. The Mustang is easily my favorite car.
But I like the '68 fasrback the best.

This is another one of my dream cars.
71 Cuda HEMI

I call dibs on reviewing your first knife! :D Good luck man, it sounds really fun.
.

Haha deal! Im sure with will be quite the masterpiece.

What grinder you looking at?

Thank you! This is why I don't mess with electronics after 9:00 pm lol....

I have decided on a KMG variable speed. Im thinking im gunna get the package with the flat platen and a big contact wheel. Im not sure if im ever gunna do hollow grinds, but it woukd be nice to have the capability.

Both are excellent examples of muscle car history. It kills me to tell you that I had a '68 fastback GT 390 in Springtime Yellow (orig "S" code car) and sold it. that car and my old '72 Corvette are ones I should have kept. I will have to dig up some pics someday and post them up. The Mustang would burn up the tires first through third gear. It was an awesome car.

This is not a pic of my car, but mine was the same as this one.

Mark there is a 71 Cuda at RK Motors in Charlotte... Only 2000 miles on it, original everything...for only $2,000,000...start saving lol

It's a very nice grinder! Can't wait to see your first knife!

I'd say my top three cars would be the corvette L88, 1970 mach 1, and the 1972 chevelle....here some pics of the mach 1 (I especially love the louver on the back window)

I never really notice my wallet because It's pretty thin. I only notice it if I sit at an odd angle.

A lot of the lights I'm seeing seem and look like pretty nice flashlights, but the pocket-clip is in the middle of the knife and that just kills everything for me. I just really don't like the idea of having bulky pockets.

I saw you subscribe to selfbuilt on YouTube and I checked out a couple of his videos and also subscribed. I'm going to be checking out more of his videos and hopefully I'll be more knowledgable on the subject. That's basically what I did with knives and it seemed to work just fine.

I really like some of the Foursevens designs. They seem like Kershaw in my eyes as they would be my main flashlight company (same goes for Leatherman). The Preon II P2 (color doesn't really matter, but I do like blue) is in the lead right now because I like the clip design and placement and It's pretty small and thin.

Foursevens is great, but I with their Quark Pro QPL didn't also have the clip near the middle. The Quark Pros have that moonlight mode that I find extremely useful. Their Minis and Preons have a low mode, but it's not nearly as dim as the moonlight they do. That's what had me trying out a couple Sunwayman lights as well as the Olights and then Zebralights. So far, the Zebralight SC52 is the CF Blur of flashlights for me, even though it is a bit more than one may normally spend on a light. But the SC52 does 280lm from a AA, and about 500 on burst from a Li-Ion, so it's a nutty piece for being so small. I also have a tendency towards floody lights, so the XML emitters tend to attract me more.

Why is that? I've never had a problem with either of mine, and they get abused on my keychain.

Not sure...I think it's the design of the male threads being on the head instead of the body. Sometimes you see the brass part of the pill poking out. It's not really a bad thing, but if I have the option I tend to lean away from it.

If you like the ThruNite design, check out the L3 Illuminations L10. They have them at SBFlashlights, and they offer them with a Nichia 219 LED. For $25, it's a really nice light with a very warm beam.

I'm liking that Zebralight SC52. I watched selfbuilts review on it and I was impressed.

I don't like lights with clips. I like lights that are short. I think I'm going to upgrade to a thrunite t21.
$35
and a max output of 350 lumens.

This is my perfect light size. And this is the one I'm thinking of upgrading to.

Size in hand.

And Mario. I guess when it comes to lights, I'm like most new knife people. I don't care really about quality. As long as it's tough, and is a good performer.

My dad's got an all original 71 plum crazy purple cuda. not a hemi, but beautiful nontheless. it came with the 340 small block, 4 speed pistol grip shifter, and white top. I absolutely love it. Needs restored, doesn't run, but still amazing! Can't wait til it's mine someday!
