I just now noticed my CBCF has lock rock........I'm going to make a thread about it, and not contact KAI........Actually I'm not going to contact KAI, cause I really don't care.

My 0561 has lock rock as well. Normally any kind of play in any direction annoys me but, like you, I really don't care with this knife. I'm sure I could send it in and get it fixed but it's not that big of a deal to me. Dropping the spine probably voided the warranty anyway.

What does your lockface (blade part) look like? Mine has a pretty steep curve which is what I think is causing the rock.

Mines pretty shallow. What I think the problem may be is that it's not fully broken in yet. Because I can force the lockbar over about half a millimeter, and that'll make the lock rock go away. So, I'm going to start flipping it again, and see if it goes away.
 
give it some time, my 561 came back with lock rock, and i thought it was bad but it seems to have fixed itsself
