As much as I hate to say it, the Blackhawks won that game fair and square. Ugh......

The Red Wings have a TON of potential though and we'll be in the Eastern Conference next year.

What should have happened, only 6 pages too late... ;)

There were some informative posts in there (eg. Jimmer explaining the real reason why the blade was run as it was), but most of it seemed to degenerate into complaints about why it was at one hardness and not another and the usual back and forth that ensues once that begins.

Looks like Kai is dropping the hammer...GOOD. I've grown weary of the moaning and groaning. I feel that there are valid questions that should be asked that I'd like to know the answers to myself... But it seems that there are some who are also riding topics just to bash and throw in low blow comment just for kicks. Do I think we should be allowed to criticize, disagree and debate? I think so, but its gotten out of hand.

Looks like production numbers will not be disclosed anymore, when they were more than happy to share estimates before. That's what happens... I cannot blame them for taking action. Pump out a knife intended for the fans in the CBCF, and some people just can't appreciate it. Think the HT is low? Fine. Bash the company because of it? Not fine...And thanks to them, no more first looks, numbers, etc. Say thanks everyone!

So from what I understand reading the new sticky, if you are just here to troll... Move along. Don't engage these people yourselves though guys or you will be called names. Report it to the mods and let them ban these guys off of the subforum...

I think Kai would benefit from having a dedicated forum on their own website like other companies. It may be possible there to have a relationship with Kai where we can have first looks etc. again. BF is awesome, but it is big, and it brings in everyone - the good and the bad... unlike in a dedicated forum where people with a genuine interest in Kai's products can hang out, and less of the random forumite dropping by to stir the pot.

Yeah, there is a difference between bringing up a valid concern and getting advice and discussing it and complaining. If you don't like it, sell it or don't buy it. If you get something and have a problem ZT will take care of you. Have returned several knives over the years for little and big things and had to return one more than once, but ZT always fixed the issue in the end. Their customer service and warranty team is awesome.
 
I'm going to blade tomorrow. I hope there is a 777 there I can touch. Never seen this beast in real life. Hoping to play with the 566 as well. :D

Depending on the circumstances and the wording 9 times out of 10 if you recieve a grant for a specific purpose that you asked for in your proposal you will have to use it for that purpose or A: you have to payback every penny plus some, B: you are not allowed to even touch it. Or C: it was a general bond with everything they wanted to do with it was written but the media said only gym and shop and left out all the rest. I would say most likely C. Schools write up proposals all the time for stuff they don't need but want just to stay competitive and for the treasurer, superintendants to say hey look we have been doing our jobs.
 
You summed it up well fcm415.

What a lot of people do not comprehend is the wording of complaints and even praises. If you have a valid complaint and want to give some constructive criticism on what would make it better in the real world that's fine. I have seen very few of those in this forum lately though.

The biggest problem, well two biggest problems I see are people not thinking one bit and posting they have a problem and if kai doesn't fix it they are the worst company in the world and will never buy one of their products ever again before contacting kai. And secondly people thinking they can tell kai what to do and why they need to do it.
Most of this is fixed if you word it correctly. If you can't say it nicely or constructively don't say it at all.

Guess what chiefs, you don't know jack! Kai is in the position they are today because of the way they do business. There is a larger place out there in reality than just bladeforums.

Guess what, they do listen to their customers contrary of what you think and it shows. They place things where they do for specific reasons. They make things a certain way for specific reasons. Do you realise the way your posts come across? Look at it from the other end of the screen, if someone said something the way you did back at you, how would you take it? Probably just as it is. If only people could take the extra minute or two and think of how to say what they want without being a dick, you might just get somewhere with your questions, instead it gets ignored or rebutted.

I have plenty more to say but none of it is nice so i will keep my mouth shut and my butt infraction free for now.

I welcome the smack down, as I have heard before from a very smart man, there needs to be a change of culture around here. Its our house and we will take charge.
