I'm pretty good with animals, insects, archnids, fish, flowers, trees, etc... I own a few N.A. books on them and have been interested in that kind of stuff for a long time now. Helps when you're out in the woods too!

I have a Congress Tools 400 grit Silicon Carbide stone that I use for reprofiles. And then I just use the sharpmaker :D. I have not had any problems with "super steels". I will probably upgrade at some point just for ease of use.
 
I don't know about that with the 551 I had 3 serial numbers were 256 1247 and 1560 so I doubt limited to 1000
 
In talks to trade my Southard and Umnumzaan for a Hinderer xm 18 3.5 spanto. Crossing my fingers it works out. Might have to add some cash.
