Yea, I know. Though I think the newer ones are using flash memory?? (that is, if I read it right)
Also the chromebook really has nothing to boot at all. All apps, settings, etc are on the chrome server.

Yeah, they use flash memory instead of a physical disk, so your read/write speeds aren't affected by disk spin up time, or disk RPM. Hard drives are still the king for mass storage, but SSD's are getting there.
 
I feel Nekid! I shaved off my goatee! its been atleast a year since I haven't had facial hair.

On a knife related note, I have been carrying my D.W.O. Sabertooth as a secondary knife for a month now and I love this thing. It rips through most everything I have tried cutting! Easier to use than I would have thought.
 
chrome book is nice, i like the lack of a bloaty OS. Total boot time is under 10 seconds from total power off. i LOVE mine, couldnt be happier
