Great, last night i had to move out soggy wooden book shelfs, also, my grandpa (with him in iowa now) just told me when we get to his farm hes going to let me shoot a gun the first time!
Its an old .22 wich seems like the best start and is a little more sentimental for the occasion, any tips on recoil? Because ive read a lot into this stuff and about recoil handling n stuff, bit im worried I'll over compinsate for it and pull a muscle (too stiff already than the slight recoil pushes a little too much, not saying a .22 is a huge recoil or anything) or under compinsate it and drop the thing... So how do i get into shooting without having the beginner stupidity, seeming to stupid, or a know it already feel... I don't know how this sounds but in my mind its phrased right

A .22 is nothing ;). IMO, you don't really need to do anything for a .22. Just shoot it like you would normally shoot a gun. I know when I'm hunting and I have the crosshairs on a deer, the last thing I'm worried about is recoil. I just pull the trigger and hope I hit the thing in the heart or lung(s). I like to use a .50 caliber muzzleloader.

I'll post this here again because I feel like nobody will see it because It's the last post on the last page.

ya, ill just leave it, i was thinking of getting it sharpened, when i do ill just see if the person can center it aswell, also, just found out our basement flooded :( when we were on vacation
I know what you mean. Our basement floods when we get a heavy rain or in the Winter and it decides to warm-up. I think my mom got it fixed though while I was at my dad's for a weekend.
Hope everyone has a good week end...:)
My weekend was splendid.
I mentioned Moxy earlier, but I think we should review the roster and make some adjustments. There are a lot of "members" that are pretty much nonexistant here.
I agree.
Why is #43 blank?
Because nobody wanted to be that number.
Luck sob :grumpy: i need a real job... I only get $30 aweek allowance for chores, and ocasionally poop scooping neighbors yards...
Only $30? I don't get paid sh.......crap.
Ohhhh.... Youre one of THOSE... :barf:
Lol!
Its still friggin snowing bro!!! Make it stop
I wouldn't mind a couple inches of snow right now.

So, if anybody noticed my lack of posting in this thread over the weekend, it was because I was in Fremont, Indiana camping. The campground we went to was Yogi Bear Jellystone or something like that. We (in "we" I mean my mom, 2 brothers, sister and mom) went with my Uncle, Aunt, 2 girl cousins and my Grandma and Grandpa. Overall, I had a good time. The campground had a water park, which is where I spent most of my time because there was a bunch of hot wimenz hanging around :D. My mom also surprisingly let me drive around the campground, but I was limited to 5 M.P.H. I won't complain though because there was A LOT of little kids running out in front of you and whatnot. Let's see, on Saturday I went to a car and military museum that had a bunch of cool stuff. Unfortunately though it looks like it'll be closing down soon because it was empty in places and some of the pieces were being auctioned off. I forget the name of the museum but it had a batmobile out front and the name started with Kruse.

Today, after waking up and packing everything back into the Jeep we headed to Shipshewana, Indiana because my mom wanted to find some Amish stuff to eat but we didn't find anything. On the way there though we stopped at a Buffalo sanctuary I guess you could call it. That was cool to look at. My 9-year old sister though thought it would be a good idea to see if the fence was electric and she put her hand on it and grabbed it and got shocked. I tried not to laugh to be nice, but I couldn't help myself :p. After that and Shipshewana, we drove home and stopped at an antique store along the road because my mom wanted to see if they had any Detroit Tigers stuff laying around, which they didn't. But, they had a lot of cool looking tools and some military things. I was able to find one cool thing though, but I'll post pictures later.

Don't worry about it. A 22 has next to no recoil.

That water park sounds like fun *insert your whine & and cheese joke here* and I love care/plane/transport museums! Also your sister got electrocuted?

The water park was very fun. I didn't mean electrocuted, I mean't shocked. I'll go and change that now.

I figured, I just wanted to make sure people didn't think you were laughing at your sister getting electrocuted. :)

Gosh, im hitting a lull in saving for my 0200, metnally not actually lull in cash. Im just getting antsy

Just remember you'll have to wait even longer if you cave now and spend it.

Sebastien Loeb smashed the unlimited record with 8:13 and change up the 14 mi Pikes Peak course! Record was 9:46.

Rhys Millen also bested it. The record was set by Millen last year by the way.

Catching up on laundry, dogs bathed and everything put away today after the week long trip. Need to disassemble my blur, ram, and skyline to get all the sand out and clean them up. I need to catch up on Le Mans from last week too!

Did you hear what happened to Allan Simonsen?

I did. I haven't tried to find the video of the wreck or anything yet though. That was his 7th Le Mans race, just crazy from what I have read that it happened in the first hour in the daylight and not later in the dark.
